Dolphins enjoyed the bye in Round 3 after a strong win over the Dragons a week earlier. Kodi Nikorima and Ray Stone will be fit to play, which means Max Plath could move to the bench and Kurt Donoghue out of the team. Outside of Stone’s return, Wayne Bennett is unlikely to make any changes, having already axed Tesi Niu after one week.

I think Plath will stay and Stone will start on the bench.

A danger game this one. One you would think we will win but GC will be fired up. They will also get Fifita and Campbell back which will make up for Tino's loss.

On the subject of Tino, with Tommy and now Tino out, QLD are going to be seriously short for good middle forwards in Origin, aren't they?
  • Collins (Roosters prop)
  • Carrigan
  • Flegler
  • Cotter
4 isn't enough. Need 5 middle forwards but I guess a backrower can be made to fill the role. Still, two middle forwards who would have been certainties already out must be starting to be a concern.

Every game is a danger game as far as the Dolphins are concerned. They will probably be slight favourites but I'm not getting carried away by their big victory over StG. GC are hurting but a big effort will be needed to secure victory.

Agree. It reminds me of how we were going into the St George game. i.e. they came off a good win and were warm favourites after our pathetic display the previous week.

I don't see a win.

I'll just put this out there and hunker down behind the sand bags. Campbell is a much better fullback than Hammer.

Campbell is more consistent, that's for sure. You won't see any games from him like the round 1 game Hammer provided but also don't think he's capable of playing as well as Hammer did in round 2.

I rate Campbell as a serious fullback but he's only played 30min of football in the last 6 months. Lets wait and see if he's even picked for them. Though I'm not sure if he's better than Hammer. Different kinds of fullbacks. Campbell is all about lots of touches and lots of passing. Hammer is more about running but not passing.

Good to see the team taking shape.

Hope we stick with this for a few games, get some combos happening etc.

Forward rotation will happen. However, those halves and backline now need to cement themselves. And the Titans are a good opportunity to do so.

Wallace > Kerr and Nicholls for me.

Other than that, I agree.
