Round 4: Gold Coast Titans vs Dolphins

Can't wait for some harder games. Tigers next week, who thrashed the Sharks last week, and then Broncos without Haas and Walsh.
Both very winnable. After 6 rounds we have the possibility of being right up there if not top. But of course Souths were on top after round 13 last year but missed the finals. So lets not get excited too soon.

I was really nervous about this game. Nice to get it over with. For me
3. Katoa
2. Flegler
1. JMK

I know that might be somewhat controversial but it was a good team effort.

  3. Kafusi
Kafusi was on a mission tonight. He scared them in defence and attack.

3. Kafusi
2. Hammer
1. Katoa

It seems to me, the club has gotten a great deal with Katoa given how much decent halfbacks make these days. A player to build the club around for the next 3 years without breaking the salary cap.

3. Flegler (haven't looked at the stats but think he ran for a lot of metres)
2. Hammer (luckily wasn't tested in defence)
1. Katoa (Superstar in the making)

Only 110 m for Flegs. Aitken topped the forwards with 122. Josh Kerr made a stunning 118 m in only 26 mins.

He has received a significant upgrade on the extension he has just signed.

Kerr taking advantage of the hard yards Flegler and etc made in the first 40 min.

Even with the upgrade, not a great deal for good halfbacks. Anyway, we gave him a chance so now he has to play well for the next 3 years even if his value as a halfback surpasses what we can pay him.

Pretty hard stay where he is when hammer plays entrepreneurs on attack and nowhere on d Waas at the game

I love to be vocal. However, I like to think that I am the first person to put my hand up when I am wrong.

Josh Kerr has surprised me the last two games. I hope the big fella kicks on and keeps it up. Well played.
I wasn't happy about Kerr either but I'll wait a for a few hard games against top teams before admitting I was wrong.

one thing lacking for the younger guys especially the backs is a vocal half , i was at the game none of the halfs we giving the instructions i think thats why sean puts them under pressure too none of our halfs communicate we were right near the field and the halfs for gc were barking orders the whole game

i new kerr would on the back last season he did says he was going loose wieght that he put on at dragons seen him in flesh last night and hes different shape of a player

as for plath the fact sammi never came off suggest he be low end

plath made 35 tackles in 45 mins compared to atiken n jmk played bassicailly the whole game bar 4minutes jmk never played

If you search hard enough, you'll find things to criticise Katoa for. But overall, I think he's our halfback for the next 10+ years.

Plath is going to have the next fortnight off. I was worried that it might be worse. He'll be missed though. He has been outstanding these past two games.
