How good are the Broncos this year? A bit of local competition has really brought out the best in them. Payne Haas has turned into a machine. By far the best prop in the competition. But I'm still confident if we get close to our best 17 available, we can get them.

Is it just me or does a highlights package for someone accused of general lack of involvement not make a whole lot of sense? The way to disprove it would be firstly to provide the stats and compare them with other top wingers.

100%. I was truly surprised how low Cobbo's runs were compared to the other wingers from the actual stats across all games.

Parramatta are gone for the year, and probably for at least the next few years though I have no idea what kind of juniors are coming through the system there. Last night they were way off the pace for the first 50min. though Broncos were playing well. Payne Haas tearing them up again. But to me the Broncos still looked a step below Souths and Penrith from the night before.

It's a real shame Broncos will be missing Haas for the game against Souths. Then again, if Broncos actually beat Souths without him, everyone will have no choice but to take the Broncos as a very serious premiership threat.
