He has a chance. Competition for spots is good. I think he'll probably start before Oryn but I don't think it'll last long.
Bennett was going through the motions last year.

Lemuelu IMO will get first chance if his form doesn't aim up he won't be starting much longer.

Keeley got through a full season after having some issues with injuries that limited his chances at Newcastle.

Lemuelu plays like an outside back who shifted to the forwards. He gets playing time because of a lack of options. If his lacklustre play continues, he will struggle to stay in first grade. His game awareness is basically nil and he struggles to bend the line on most occasions. Hopefully, he sorts these issues out in 2025.
Keeley is a player on the rise. He plays with the type of grit and toughness that Connie could only dream of. Oryn will be a key member of the squad from this year onwards.
💯 I hope Connie has a good year but Keeley has all the hallmarks of a young player whose time has almost come.

I think it's a matter of time before Keeley takes Lemuelu's spot and Keeley has more time on his side.

Re-signing with a club means nothing as the likes of Fuller, Donoghue, Stone and Teague all re-signed or had clauses activated.

Good news. Flegler's management confirmed on Instagram he's on track for a return during 2025.

and the fact that hes 20 means what to getting in squad

he was 21 last year as he was 222 this week
Serious? The same reason a 16 year-old doesn't. Hasn't finished developing yet. Not many forwards his age play a lot of first grade. This year is the year he will finish developing. Both physically and mentally. I hope so anyway. At the backend of last year, it was very obvious he was too good for Cup.

According to stats, Hammer is 3rd fastest player in the NRL and surprisingly, Herbie is 5th. I had no idea Herbie was that fast. First is Jason Saab which is predictable due to how tall he is but off the mark and over the first 15m, which is most important, I bet he's lagging. Hammer probably is as well. Second is Jaylan De Groot. Who does he play for? Fourth is Dom Young which was also predictable and who is probably in the same boat as Saab and Hammer.
