really dont see those two getting second rated pick over val especailly if they using jaymane at centre too especially with vals contract on the line
Those two being Herbie and Averillo? Herbie on one of the best centres in the comp. He will be in the centres barring an injury to Hammer. Then he might go to fullback. But probably not. Averillo will probably go to fullback if Hammer is unavailable.

Isaako might have been training some of the time in the centres but it would only be to improve his skills. He'll be a winger for sure.

I'm a Val fan but
I think he does. But does he have the attitude around training and being professional? I have no idea, but something tells me if he has to go to fat camp every year, he won’t be around for long.
this is most exactly correct. If he can maintain his current weight or lose a bit more, he might go ok. Even not being fat is no guarantee he won't be out on his feet in the last 20min of games. Last year he was out on his feet in the last 30min. These days centres have to be in pretty good condition for 80min.

serious question have you been to the preseason training have you read news reports about our preseason trainings

not smoking anything , i seen it more than ones read it more than once they have jake on the wing at alot of the sessions they have

go turn up to them and see yourself
We shall see during the season.

Thats what you said, and if you think Val gets picked first over Herbie, you're kidding yourself. Maybe I have misunderstood you, if I have my apologies.

Now if you look at the trial side picked for the Capras. You can see it's a second-string side. Val is starting Centre. Read into it what you will, there are no first-grade starters named in that side. Yet Val is, and I know you're smart enough to realise, that Val is a second-stringer as a result, or at least, whoever is picking the team thinks he is in that group of players.

If you share the smoke, I'll come watch whatever it is you're watching.

Isaako? He'll be 3rd picked after JMK and Gilbert and that will be on the wing.

In round 1 Issako won't be on the centres. Highly umlikely he'll be in the centres all season. Possible only if there's an injury crisis.

In the trials he might be in the centres.

Is the fact the first choice quartet is on only a bit more money than the second choice good or bad?

I reckon it's great, as it gives us plenty of room to build the squad further going forward.

Should some of those players not work out. Ill uses SOS as an example, we can move them on without taking a hit. In his case, $350k isnt as big a mistake to make, as let's say someone on 800k on a 5 year deal.

I think if we continue to strike on sure things (or close to), we may miss out a few times, but when we land one, we will be set for the future. And not be the next bulldogs, or Chelsea FC.

SOS on 350k? To warm the bench. A blanket would be cheaper and more useful

I’d traded him for a blanket. The blankets ability to cover in defense would be a plus
dont see to much wrong with his defence he had the least missed tackles and 2nd best Tackle Efficiency what more does he need improvencome back when back it up with stats not mouth both need actually need look at stats before you comment

Sometimes you need to actually watch and not be blinded by stats , he constantly gets pushed off 1 on 1 , and the reason he tore his pec was because of his tackling technique

We are probably too harsh on SOS but mr_c mr_c definitely needs to reconcile himself to the new reality going forward. That is, the only way Katoa isn't going to be the halfback for at least the next 2~3 years is if he's injured. I had mixed feelings about Katoa last year but now I see it's because he was being asked to paly out of position. Halfback is definitely his position.

I’m not having a shot at mr c , far from it , I’m just adding an opinion based on how I look at the game . I understand everyone sees it differently.
