According to stats, Hammer is 3rd fastest player in the NRL and surprisingly, Herbie is 5th. I had no idea Herbie was that fast. First is Jason Saab which is predictable due to how tall he is but off the mark and over the first 15m, which is most important, I bet he's lagging. Hammer probably is as well. Second is ho does he play for? Fourth is Dom Young which was also predictable and who is probably in the same boat as Saab and Hammer.

Serious? The same reason a 16 year-old doesn't. Hasn't finished developing yet. Not many forwards his age play a lot of first grade. This year is the year he will finish developing. Both physically and mentally. I hope so anyway. At the backend of last year, it was very obvious he was too good for Cup.

You are spot on Josh. Keeley last year needed a full year of football and his development was stalled due to injuries and the covid lockdowns which was two years in NSW based competitions. The fact he got a full year and got better for Norths single handedly won them the game v Newtown all goes well for him.

Keeley was clearly in the sights of Woolf from day one and we both agree that Keeley will see a lot more NRL action.

One thing all of us bar one agree on is that Plath will be in the 17 and playing at least 60mins every game he's available for

Keeley or Plath? I think both will be in the 17 barring injury or selection in rep teams for Plath. If his form continues on from last year, he's every chance of being on the bench for QLD.

You are definitely in the Storm, Panthers and Warriors forums as you are a big fan of all these clubs. That's quite alright but just like in this forum, you are critical of other fans. Usually the issue is over the stupidest things and in situations where you are clearly wrong or confused. You need to chill out and stop trying to portray yourself as something that you're not.

These places are, for me, are a place to add value to the common cause. Sometimes being critical, but constructive, as well as being positive.

I don’t see much of that from him, to the point he is the first person I have ever put on ignore in any forum. And that’s since 1999 (if I recall correctly) the original league forums.

I am a bit of a see you next Tuesday type of person, I’ll admit. However, I would have put him on mute. He sounds like a serial pest, when I read some of your interactions with him on other forums.

When I first came into here one of my first comments was supporting and defending Plath I did miss the early conversations.

For the record Bulldogs are my primary team I supported Redcliffe in QCup and I'm one of those who believes SEQ has been completely screwed by the Broncos so was always going to support a second Greater Brisbane Region team. I support Easts if they're association with Western Region gets into the NRL as I love the Toowoomba region.

I hope you don't mind too much when the Dolphins smash Bulldogs this year.

I find myself defending the Dolphins more because of how they're covered or not covered in the media. Courier Mail is pretty much boycotting them, Bloke in the Bar is only out of sufferance due to Kayo sponsoring Beak, Daily Telegraph are so wrapped up thinking they can only win a game due to Bennett and so many podcasts don't do their research into the club.

Bulldogs are fine as they have Gus Gould and so many former players doing podcasts.

Dolphins don't even have a viable fan podcast to push back against the agenda so I feel like I'm defending them.

Last year though with Dolphins I was really critical of their fitness, application to training (compared to Bulldogs it was just a local park side) and Bennett double dipping at another club. I will defend Woolf to the hilt.

Due to the Dolphins my most hated team has become the Broncos just everything about them is so arrogant and the contempt they have for the wider game. I've traveled to a few regional areas where they've destroyed, they ruined the BRL, sabotaged the Western Corridor NRL bid, attempted to sabotage the Dolphins NRL bid, Peter Badel, Ben Dobbin, list goes on with that club. Michael McGuire has quickly caught onto the Broncos arrogance and contempt. I do find it rather interesting McGuire and Woolf are taking different approaches to their coach Woolf is keeping this very much to himself and McGuire is ringing up media & journalists on a daily basis.

I don't think the Broncos are capable of self reflection the days of Bennett are long gone.
