Yeah, it was a no brainer for the NRL.
Being a financial powerhouse doesn't guarantee success, but it puts you in the best possible position to win and be one. The poverty of the NRL really don't stand a chance against the bigger clubs.
And whilst we would all like to think the comp is an even playing field, it just isnt, and the rich get richer, whilst the poor get poorer. I don't see the Tigers, Dragons or any of the poorer clubs winning much anytime soon.
Brisbane didn't miss a final series for such a long time, and it was because of its financial backing and advantage it had over other teams.
We will win and it won't be long.
