What's new

Round 20 - Dolphins vs Cowboys

I don't even know what's going on. With all the outs, I was hoping to keep it close and squeeze out a late win. Unless there is a big second half turnaround, I think Cowboys will be looking for a new coach by Tuesday next week.

The ref is doing his best to keep payten in a job
Some of the 6 again calls and the "roll ball" the ref boss could and probably will argue it was correct but it's infuriating how rarely we get any of those calls. Especailly the 6-agains which I don't think we got one but I thought should have gotten 3 or 4.

Best in first half:
  • Herbie
  • Averillo
  • Keeley
So many standouts I can't nominate 3 but along with the 3 your nominated, I'd like to add Lemuelu and JMK.

Nerve wracking last 20 but now I'm going with my halftime opinion.
3. Herbie
2. Averillo
1. Keeley

Averillo to 5/8 worked a treat it really unlocked the Dolphins attack & they attacked with traffic all night with Nanai he made some good tackles on him.

He won’t feature in 3-2-1 but let’s give Naufahu a wrap his second game, no mistakes, took tough runs and great to see a pathways player emerge.

Lemuelu 274m crazy for a back rower & Donga clocked up 50 tackles.

Donga just won the channel 9 award

If Kodi is back next game, in 2 weeks, can Woolf drop Averillo or Naufahu after that?

Nicholls & Kaufusi next game, Sua be available but would have to play QCup as he hasn't played for a long-time.

Nikorima and Kuli looking likely in the final 3 weeks.

Flegler is progressing better than reported.

Kurt D has found his position at 13. I can see with Plath back next year, one being the starting lock, and one being the 14, with Gilbert to the back row I think.

My big disappointment from last night was that we didn't get to see the Ray Stone Try July Celebration :)

Dolphins next game is 1st August.
