@Blockade as you said the other day re C you were spot on & last night further proof that Averillo was a massive difference in favour of the Dolphins in attack & also shutting down Nanai. Let me add C was able to convince most of the 10-15 members in here prior to the trials that Donga won’t be re signed & he’s a rubbish player. He was extended for another two years before the trials started & has been the breakout player this season for Dolphins. He’s in the top 17 next year only way he misses out is injury or suspension as it won’t be poor form or attitude. He’s now owning that lock spot and working a great combination with Katoa and this Dolphins team is now based all around Katoa.

Averillo for me was the best on ground followed by Donga and Lemuelu. Honourable mention to Keeley who’s now growing every week as an NRL player. I reckon last night was his first full 80 at NRL.

Averillo playing 5/8 makes such a difference and I’m so happy the pathways players are now getting a shot something you’ve been so against and I was pushing for. Naufahu went well. Averillo doesn’t play 5/8 last night Dolphins don’t win in fact Nanai scores 2-3 tries.

Kurt started relatively poor. Unfortunately, Woolf was searching g for his role, trying him everywhere. Since he has been at Lock, he has grown another leg.

Katoa and Herbie have been good all year.

Hindmarsh, interestingly suggested he was team Herbie over Crighton. Because Herbie is always 8/10 even in beaten sides. And i would have to agree.

Herbie, unless he gets struck by lightning, will be player of the year, closely followed by Katoa, then daylight 3rd.

Probably right but in the second 3rd of the season, how many MoM performances do you Kurt has picked up? Or picked up given we are into the last 3rd now.
