He's in the top 30 so if he's good enough he'll get there.Donga will force his way into the 17

As long as it isn't hooker. He's pretty bad there. He'll get there
If anyone other than JMK is at hooker this season the spoon predictions could be correct JMK is the Dolphins MVP.As long as it isn't hooker. He's pretty bad there.
Plath has turned into adequate back up. JMK is much better but Harrison Graham and Teague aren't suitable replacements. If anyone other than JMK is at hooker this season the spoon predictions could be correct JMK is the Dolphins MVP.
Plath at 13 makes a much better Dolphins side than at 9. No one at Dolphins is anywhere near JMK as a 9 this has been proven time again.Plath has turned into adequate back up. JMK is much better but Harrison Graham and Teague aren't suitable replacements.
Obviously the Dolphins aren't looking to win the pre-season challenge. Just looking to give young blokes at the club who probably won't see much first grade a run. See which ones are in the frame to play first grade this year and which need another year in QLD Cup.Interesting team Woolf is going with. Averillo at No.6, Tupou at 5 is interesting. I don't think any of those forwards will be in the round 1 team. Keeley in particular is and interesting omission.

As a fullback? I think Hammer is first choice then Averillo. Around Origin time, Fuller will be back.I'm still predicting Donga will eventually force his way into the best 17 during the way.
Woolf will begin moving on the older guard too many players became complacent and tired last year.
Penrith have set a standard of fitness for the last 5 years, Canterbury stepped it up taking fitness to a whole new level and both Brisbane and Souths setting the fitness yardsticks for 2025 behind Canterbury. A lot of the team were unfit, tired and lethargic and this is where Woolf will attempt to add in players with more energy and enthusiasm if they don't aim up. I expect Donga to be a big winner from all this.
Hasn't it been an unbelievably quiet off season for the Dolphins? All the talk about who the Broncos have to let go and the new coach and Gold Coasts halves dilemma and also NQs halfback dilemma but Dolphins seem to be right up there with Melbourne and Penrith with the settled squad and coach. As a fullback? Actually Dolphins coach is getting a lot of air time on Sydney based podcasts and radio stations but it's been all negative and quite disgusting. I called out Denan Kemp and his two lackeys the other day and Beak didn't take kindly to someone fighting back.Hasn't it been an unbelievably quiet off season for the Dolphins? Hope you told him to get off Maguires 3 card trick. And actually give a honest review, like there half’s are 90 years of age and ones falling apart.Actually Dolphins coach is getting a lot of air time on Sydney based podcasts and radio stations but it's been all negative and quite disgusting. I see. I actually almost never listen to any podcasts. I really only read Fairfax and News Ltd but only the sport news.Actually Dolphins coach is getting a lot of air time on Sydney based podcasts and radio stations but it's been all negative and quite disgusting. The only person in Sydney media to question McGuire has been Phil Rothfield and he's getting absolutely roasted and savaged.Hope you told him to get off Maguires 3 card trick. And actually give a honest review, like there half’s are 90 years of age and ones falling apart.
KD at fullback is great. With Fuller out, he needs more game time there to make sure he is okay to go during the season if needed. He won’t be getting that game time in NRL games. What do people think of these selections for Friday?
Kurt Donoghue at fullback
Jake Averillo at 5/8
Josh Allen starting at prop
LJ Nonu starting on the wing
Allen and Nonu aren't part of the Top 30 or Supplementary squads
Watching the Tiger doco. Maguire comes across not very well. I think you might be right. That type for shit grows old on professionals after a while. I don’t think the likes of Walsh will put up long termThe only person in Sydney media to question McGuire has been Phil Rothfield and he's getting absolutely roasted and savaged.
I'm telling anyone who'll listen that Woolf will still be coaching Dolphins long after McGuire has been moved on by Broncos regardless of how 2025.
I do think the Dolphins have a lot of teething issues in 2025 as Woolf begins the regeneration of the squad and the gap between the academy & pathways players to being NRL standard still a fair way away especially in the front-row department. Any injuries the Dolphins are in trouble as none of their Supplementary Players are NRL ready whereas I saw the Bulldogs lists posted they have 3 players who played NRL last year on Supplementary Deals this is how Gus works around it to build so much NRL ready depth and he puts so many development players on full time train & trial deals instead.
For a few weeks during Origin it might work but for the entire year? I doubt it. But he might have learned from past mistakes. We will see soon enough.Watching the Tiger doco.
