A good thing is according to the predicted NRL round 1 teams Dolphins only had Averillo (even though I have Donoghue) and Cowboys had 3 out there in the predicted round 1 top 17. Most predicted 1-17 on all the websites are the same bar maybe 1-2 positions. So that is a very good effort by the Dolphins. Cowboys had Hess, O'Donnell and Lawton in the forwards and the young Dolphins kids steamrolled them.

I was happy with Averillo and the front row rotation.

Dolphins have two spots left in their roster in Top 30 and Development. Nonu is already on an Academy deal (glorified train & trial contract) and Allen will go on the same getting his train & trial deal push way beyond the trials. If Woolf needs to use them before Round 11 they will get promoted to Development. This keeps the salary cap free as train & trial payments don't count to the cap and the balance of difference made up with their QCup deals.
