dont think theres many top aussies that lasted at that club more than a year into there contract

It's all about value for money. Reports are they were far from getting it so justifiably jumped at chance to sack them. It's harsh but we aren't living in a socialist nirvana.

I think you might be right about Keary. I just don't rate him. Never did and certainly don't now. He had a blinder in the GF a few years ago but that's the only time I've seen him play really well.

Catalans pay the players cash and let them sign on the dole which is about $1000 aus a week on top
 
Years ago Aussie players got their contract money payed into a bank in Singapore so they didn’t pay uk tax
 
Yeah and any one that's not a test player gets signed up for x amount of dollars then the find out that they have to work in a sponsors company as well as play as Gary said ex catlans overseas players warn you to stay right away

Guys on 6 figure contracts walk into the dole office in a country where the typical worker makes around 20k Euros, if that? I'm surprised they could look at themselves in the mirror. And definitely not the kind of person we want around the Dolphins.

broo they aint on 6 figures not eve 3 figures in some case, i know a ex qld cup player expected to earn over 200k they wouldnt even give him 10k a year

Guy signs a contract for 200k but isn't paid 10k? Is France a Banana Republic? If a player signs a contract for 200k in France, the player gets that unless he is sacked or quits. If he is sacked, it has to be for legitimate reasons.
