I can’t say I’ve paid to much attention to him , obviously the coaching staff rate him , but I can’t see where he fits

I think Wayne tried to turn him into a hooker or at least a utility who can play hooker. But no, that didn't happen. Not his game at all, to put it politely. Seems like a good backline utility. If there are a few injuries in the outside backs, he might find himself in first grade. Otherwise he'll probably start at fullback for....... I think he plays for Redcliffe but to be honest, I haven't followed Cup at all for the past 2 years. I have no idea what's what and who's who in Cup.

Kodi spent most of his NYC days at FB. Kurt is a decent spare parts player but he isn't on the same page as KNik. Speculation about who would be a better bench utility is pointless because Kodi will be wearing the #6 come Round 1.
 
The other thing to mention, as some of the older players retire. Is that Kodi will be much needed experience, in what will turn into a younger side.

Kurt is a better player full stop just gets over excited at times he's a true Newcastle bogan :)

I'm excited for the Dolphins because there's going to be a changing of the guard happening during the season.

lol better player lol he cant even cement a role in nrl or qld cup lol ( and hes got hual ass to be a decent utility ) or he find super league calling as for mine one or two games in various postions aint going get you in a side

again not sure where your seeing better player from

I don't know what your relationship is with him but you are doing the same thing mr_c mr_c was doing with SOS and Katoa. You can talk up Donoghue without talking down Kodi. When it comes to utility players, Kodi is elite. It's sometimes too bad when a player is a jack of all trades but master of none. Donoghue isn't a jack of all trades. He can't play in the forwards. Debatable to say he is a better in the backs to Kodi.

I believe there's a changing of the guard happening. Woolf tried to get Hunt to play 5/8 and now converting Averillo into a 5/8. Assistant coach Nathan Fien when asked about the outside back options when interviewed on 4BC during the week never mentioned Averillo he did mention Herbie, Isaako, Bostock, Hammer & co.

In that case, Kodi will be on the bench as a utility. Kodi will be in the 17 for round 1 unless he is injured. Very much doubt Donoghue will.

lol changing of gaurd dont mean kurt though, just because he didnt mention jake doesnt mean hes not consider 4 backs and we had have changing of gaurd as we had players retire n be few this season too

I don't believe the Round 1 team will eventually be the best 17 for the Dolphins once the season progresses. If they have a good run with injuries I expect Woolf to go with younger legs especially to get around the mid to late year fadeouts.

Maybe. We will see but I bet Kodi is part of the best 17 unless injured throughout the year.

wont happen unless injuries he wont change to much of a team unless injuries i really think kurts better suited in qld cup to cover positions i see it pretty much same team bar our signings coming in

I'm still predicting once Donoghue and Keeley force their way into the 17 for a weekend whether by form or injury they will keep their spots for good much like Plath and Bostock. I'm sure anyone who dared to pick Plath in a 17 this time last year would have been shot down by the usual suspects :)

Keeley will hopefully get some game time this year, I don’t see donoghue, getting a game if he does then we are in a massive injury crisis. I just don’t see where he fits in

I am guilty of giving it to SoS. Apologies.

I agree with you 100 percent though. I hate rubbishing our players. Supporters shouldn’t do it.

I am conflicted though. Being an ex dragons fan, and us signing a few dragons that I thought weren’t good enough. In my defense I have admitted on a few occasions how Bostock has proven me wrong.

Take what I say with a grain of salt. My armchair is well worn.
