'Belongs in the NRL’: Dolphins gun lands upgraded deal
Dolphins dynamo Trai Fuller has signed a two-year deal with the club as a just reward for his explosive performances in 2024.
The contract elevates him to the Dolphins top 30 full-time squad for the 2025 and 2026 seasons.
Debuting in Round 25 last year, Fuller scored a trademark individual try on debut with the 27-year-playing even better in 2024, appearing in nine matches while deputising at fullback or as an impact player off the bench.
Growing up in the Queensland country town of Eidsvold, 430 kilometres north of Brisbane, he made his way to the Dolphins as a teenager after a stint with the Broncos under-20s team and became an immediate hit in the Queensland Cup with Redcliffe as part of the 2018 premiership team.
Happy about this. I hope Wolff makes him into a utility coming on to give JMK a rest or fill in for an injury in the backs. His front on defence is good. Actually, his defence is good period.
