What was the name of that dude who was cut loose by the Dogs due to a neck injury? Carl or Karl Olo*******. Has he packed it in and decided to call it a day, just not good enough or something else?

Well thats part of some players downfall - Versatility. Whilst he can be a pro, sometimes it can be a con too. Here mr versatile gets thrown on a centre and has a bad game (in a position he doesnt play week in week out like every other player on that field), on the back of a side under the pump who had lost momentum.

I wouldnt read too much into that game. I mean he was a major part of getting them to a grand final. Id love for him to play in our side and get us there.

I'm confused by it as well but I guess Woolf knows his game and form much better than we do.

Agreed. a lot of money to spend and long way to travel to at best warm the bench and at worst play in Q cup

Hi, did you go to the Everton game? I did Wembley but couldn't get tickets for this one. Sadly I'm out next sat night so will be watching on TV while getting ready. I thought Knowles did well and dropping Welsby was a great decision. Overall i thought England threw the kitchen sink in the first half but the faster ruck speed killed them and the fitness difference showed. i would think, they must allready, know kodi is only 50/50 staying and would need a back up i don't care who we get aslong as they on the same page , hes turned a lot of struggling players around ,

realistically we would be paying overs for young guys from other clubs and don't see any of them as full time 6s as most were 7 wanting more money

and think the 2 young ones from dogs we got still a while away , george will be a great guy if we can keep him on our staff when retires to help train and delop the halfs

There is always Averillo to play 5/8. With a full preseason training as a 5/8 I thought he might go very well.

No not at all the hysteria is from the media as per usual about how this will be the death of the game etc. Psaltis said we need to reduce the teams he didn't like it when I said lets start with cutting the Broncos.

I think you find with Papenhausen and Lomax their former clubs were very keen to get rid of them so they can better balance their cap and have a shot at signing someone else. Melbourne were pretty keen to usher in Faalogo into the side and he's been a very patient backup plus he's actually a Victorian. Ironically Dolphins have someone in their current Top 30 who originally started out playing juniors for Werribee (outskirts of Melbourne where cricketer Merv Hughes is from) and later moved to Ipswich area.

The NRL is in very good health and a lot of clubs are now getting better at their juniors development following the dynasty Penrith enjoyed after what Gould put together for them with effective pathways management systems.

not really sure why you signal storm out with the success they have had without , junior system has to be credited , especailly with the forth coming pathway system they putting in for male and female , don't think gus needs be given credit , its the guys that have maintained it since he left , and its not really a pathways system that makes your club its having the future proof plan like the panthers n storm have others just rely on the smell of a oily rag to get there club through, i think storm let go players because they properly identify players they want replacing them , to have a team of soley deloped dolphins going take at least 7 more years , and as long as woolf is on same page as club n players thats all that matters look at most the teams most are basket caees on n off the field including dogs
