I actually think Manly was right. They paid him over 10 million in the last 10 years. Given his age, I thought offering him less money to play was right but it seems he spat the dummy and considered it low-balling.

my understanding is they didn't actually offer him anything. the CBA gives the current club 10 days to make a counter offer so they never actually gave him an offer as they were waiting to see what came in as he wasn't actually looking for anything anywhere else he never got another offer so Manly kept quiet this is what he considered offensive and to be fair you can see his point.

He is under contract until 2028. It's illegal for any team to talk to him before November 2027 unless they are given permission by the Dolphins, which they won't get.
And there is no indication at all he wants to leave. He signed a contract extension only last year.

Katoa is the face and marquee player of the Dolphins. He's one player I feel comfortable giving a 10 year deal too the only others I give 10 year deals too are non players like Bellamy and Gould.

If he gets permission from the club. He he gets permission from the club to leave, I'm sure there will be a race for him. As is, no race for him at all.
