Katoa is a gun. And will play in the halves.

However, he can play 5/8th. Or some coaches like to play one each side of the ruck etc.

Not sure whether our coach can implement it. However, he might have a plan.
So Kodi is on the outer as a 5/8? It's ok but surely Donoghue or Averillo gets a chance before anyone new is recruited.

In limited action. Maybe the coaching staff has seen enough of both to suggest they aren’t up to it.

I do think we have suffered with the lack of quality in the front row to start the season. And whilst I don’t like the Molo signing, I could see the need for a front rower.

I don’t think Kodi is on the outer. I think in previous teams, he has always been good off the bench. It’s Defo a 17 man game now rather than starting 13. And that 14 role is an important one.

Just my thoughts. Far from a knowledgeable one.

We have too good a team on paper for this to last all year.

We will pick up form at some stage.
I think the main issue is with Hammer at fullback totally lacking creativity in attack. When he chimes into the backline he needs to dig into the line more before passing or running himself. But I think he can't do it. Excellent running game, poor passing game.

Yeah, I see that point. He just needs to be in the team somewhere.

No. He had his chance but just couldn't stop eating way too much.

And you constantly bang on about players fitness, but want that tub of lard back. You are a clown
If he could have just stopped eating so much, he had a lot of potential. Had a blinder in his debut game even though in the last 20 min he was so gassed he could hardly move.

do you remember a Rugby Union player in the 90s call Trevor Leota? One of the Strength and conditioning coaches for Wasps moved in with him prior to the 2004 cup final to stop him eating KFC buckets.

I don't think it's that they lack discipline but it's more body type. Blokes like Milford and Taumololo mature early but are also passed their best, having slowed down a lot earlier. Not all, just some like the short, stocky one's I mentioned. Payne Haas won't have that problem because he's not that body type.
