Do you two even fight over that. Both had good games. How much has Donoghue improved under Woolf?
I said before season started he would be in the top 17 and Plath in interviews said Donga will be the big riser in the dolphins squad because Woolf really likes him.

Last night showed everyone how valuable Donga is to the Dolphins and how much he was missed in those losses against Canberra and Roosters.

He's much better now than he was under Bennett.

Donoghue is improving each week. You can see it. His effort areas are great. However, I've said it from day one, I would like to see his unforced errors/penalties reduced.

I would pick him week in week out if he wasn't one of those players that was good for a stupid penalty or a dumb mistake every game.

You can see he knows it as well. At one point in the game he made a mistake, and on the vision it should him hitting himself in the forehead, almost like "why did I do that". I reckon it's a great sign. First step to improving, is knowing you have an issue to fix. Someone has obviously said something to him along the way, and he gets it.

All encouraging signs, he has the hardest part to any sport down, and that's effort despite exhaustion. He now needs to not make mistakes when tired.

He will be great if he can overcome this.

I really do think last Friday was the making for Donga he's been up on the upward trend all year. Max Plath said last year in an interview that he said Donoghoe would be the 2025 break out player and outlined his versatility only being second to Wishart and how Woolf is a big fan of him.

His weakness is he's prone to the stupid penalty and he pushes the envelope he's not a grub like Mahoney or Ronaldo but does go to the edge. You can tell Woolf has been working hard with him. When I bumped into Kurt last year in Newcastle we did briefly talk about the 3 suspensions last year and he acknowledged he was the only player suspended 3 times in 2024.

When he plays lock it really helps unlock Katoa and IMO the whole Dolphins team is based around Katoa he's the no.7 and hopefully for a long-time. It's good that Woolf is now showing a lot of confidence in Graham and I'm happy for that he was the clubs first signing, you saw a really good human side to him on Dawn of the Dolphins doco and just seems like a person you want to see do well.

The best thing about it, IMO is Woolf getting much more out of him than Bennett ever could.

trai playing for carpas on weekend
Hope he goes well but right now, I doubt he will get recalled to the NRL unless Hammer is injured. I thought maybe Trai to fullback, Hammer centres, Averillo out but Woolf also has Averillo playing much better than Wayne could get out of him.

Providing he gets through the next 2 weeks he'll be in the 18-19 for the Cowboys clash

Averillo had his beat game in a while at fullback. If he keeps it up during the Origin period, Hammer might well find himself In the centres with Averillo fullback.

Centre is Averillo third best position IMO

But I do think Fuller will be in the 19 for the Cowboys clash in a couple weeks I didn’t quite say 17 lol

He played a good game at 5/8 last year as well. I think it was the second last game of the season.

Yes carved Broncos apart ending their season.
Unfortunately wasn't able to follow it up the following week. Newcastle didn't give us a chance. Ponga had a blinder and it was the best team effort since Andrew Johns was running around.

Bunker destroyed Dolphins that day a totally different game if the Fuller try allowed don't blame Averillo it was the bunker.
