    Round 6: Dolphins vs Penrith

A big game against their fellow cellar dwellers. Despite Penrith's poor start, they will be very tough to beat. I will be ecstatic if the Dolphins can extend their winning streak to two against the four time champs. Dolphins by 10 FTS- Bostock MOTM- KNik.

    Round 6: Dolphins vs Penrith

You can't have your skipper starting off the bench. It just doesn't happen. I fully agree with you but he'll be named at Lock as per usual. These are the sort of predicaments that can occur when you appoint a captain who hadn't played in two years. I was against it from the start solely...

Troll or not, we need members on here. I'm not sure why he's got you so triggered. I've been reading Matty's posts for 25+ years on various platforms. He certainly has an unique style. But, believe or not, he is a big fan of the club.

Round 5: Dolphins vs Gold Coast Titans

To say the boys need a win tonight is a massive understatement. In a season where it appears that there could be a changing of the guard with some very surprising results. The Dolphins aren't part of that atm and probably won't be unless they produce a couple upsets of their own. Not overly...

Round 5: Dolphins vs Gold Coast Titans

You got that right. The only positives are that Kini and Khan Pereira aren’t playing. Two speed men who can give the opposition headaches all night long. The Titan's pack has looked quite strong. The Dolphins will have to dig deep to arrest their slide.

You stopped being a Warrior fan because of the departure of Peter O'Sullivan???? Surely, that can't be the reason.

Apart from that, the boys are going pretty good. 😏

Round 4: Battle for Brisbane vs Broncos

These silly coaches who follow WB into the role seem to always struggle. It's because they want to put their own stamp on the club. They change things up when in fact, they should keep things simple (like Bennett does). Henjak, Stone, Seibs, JD and now Woolfie. All these guys thought they knew...

Round 4: Battle for Brisbane vs Broncos

Bennett set it all up for them. 11 wins and a whisker away from a playoff spot. They were supposed to take that extra step this season and seemingly with a better squad. What has gone wrong?

Round 4: Battle for Brisbane vs Broncos

Plenty of opportunities in the Bronco's red zone, but just couldn't take full advantage. Their attack is impotent atm, but that can be fixed. We have all seen how lethal they can be when it comes to scoring points. It's up to the coaching staff to sort it out. A victory is right around the...

Round 4: Battle for Brisbane vs Broncos

A big game tonight for obvious reasons. A cross town rivalry in a match where the home team are in desperate need of a win. It will be played in very wet conditions adding further intrigue. The Broncos are nothing special. I'm still trying to work out if they are any better than last year...

    Recruitment and retention

I have to laugh when fans state that DCE could make more money in England. A million dollar contract would take up almost a quarter of the cap. The ESL is struggling terribly and is in danger of folding.

Round 4: Battle for Brisbane vs Broncos

It's not a curse, it's more like a "factor". No doubt, they are missing the Bennett factor. He's not the GOAT for nothing. It was always going to be an issue with an average roster with his departure. Woolf could be successful in the long run but he has to get there first. If they seriously...

Round 4: Battle for Brisbane vs Broncos

No. I meant to say that I agree with dropping Averillo, but Donoghoe isn't a suitable FB. Which means that Hammer stays put as does Averillo. There are no other options.

Round 4: Battle for Brisbane vs Broncos

Definitely agree with you re: Averillo but Donoghoe isn't a suitable replacement at FB. I would have Plath starting at lock and drop Gilbert to the bench. Not a good look having your skipper riding the pine but he has been dreadful. Dummy half is also an issue. JMK looks lost out there and...

Round 3 Dolphins vs Wests Tigers, Sat March 22nd @ Kayo Stadium

When will it come? They need to win at least 12 of 21 just to possibly sneak out a playoff spot. How the hell are they going to manage that? Their next 5 opponents are Bris, Pen, GC, Melb and Canberra. Where do you see a definite win in that bunch? If they start 0-8 (or even 1-7), Dolphin...

Round 3 Dolphins vs Wests Tigers, Sat March 22nd @ Kayo Stadium

The real issue is that he is not playing anywhere near first grade standard. I'm aware that it will take a while to get back in the groove after a long layoff but he looks terrible atm. Giving him the captaincy was a bad move. I'm not sure if this current coach is going to work out. I realise...

Round 3 Dolphins vs Wests Tigers, Sat March 22nd @ Kayo Stadium

Definitely a bottom 4 side here. WB was able to get an extra 30% out of a weak roster. Woolf doesn't possess that magic or aura. It's going to be a very disappointing season.
