Round 3 Dolphins vs Wests Tigers, Sat March 22nd @ Kayo Stadium

First home game of the year and hopefully that will be advantageous. Wests have seemingly improved a touch but will not threaten for a playoff spot. The Dolphins will be in the same predicament if they falter once again tonight. Dolphins by 8 FTS- Saifiti MOTM- Gilbert.

Round 3 Dolphins vs Wests Tigers, Sat March 22nd @ Kayo Stadium

I'd rather have 70 members, most of whom have excellent RL knowledge rather than the crap dished up on the Dolphin pages on fb and Insta. If I see one more reaction from a Tuesday team list such as "Where's Fuller"?, "Where's Flegler"?, "How come Val can't get a game"?, "Phins Up", I'll...

Round 3 Dolphins vs Wests Tigers, Sat March 22nd @ Kayo Stadium

Woolf doesn't have a lot of options re: changes. The depth is very poor which is commonplace for a third year club. Hopefully, Finefeuiaki and Bostock prove their fitness. They really need to open their account this weekend. An 0-3 start will prove fatal.

    Round 2: Dolphins vs Newcastle

There isn't a coach alive who would mix up his spine like this just two games into the season. These guys have been training for months in these positions. Mass changes would do more harm than good. The halves are fine. They just need a competent forward pack to win at least one battle for...

So....what's your numbers and player performances for tonight then? Most of the members on here make their three predictions and then we compare notes later on.

    Round 2: Dolphins vs Newcastle

The boys struggled against Newcastle last year in two matches that they were heavily favoured to win. The latter had a playoff spot as a reward. The Knights game plan consisted of field position in an attempt to negate the Dolphin's strike weapons. It worked perfectly which deeply frustrated the...

    Round 1 vs South Sydney.

Nope. They are all full. You need to check it out one day. I think the last top 30 spot was filled by Mike Waqa. It's all irrelevant, anyways. If there was a spot vacant, they wouldn't fill it with a 19 yo winger.

They are full in all regards, though.

    Round 1 vs South Sydney.

He's not in the Top 30 and is unavailable for selection without the NRL's permission. But why would they? He's 19 yo and is still an unknown quantity. He scored a couple tries against a reserve grade quality NQ but he isn't ready for the top grade and may never be.

    Round 1 vs South Sydney.

Isaako notched up 176 m and had a blinder. Tesi Nui used to accumulate a lot of metreage and struggled for the most part. Tupou was awful. He has bulked up in the off season and now has the pace of Edrick Lee. Bostock was terribly missed last night. The less we see of Junior will be a giant...

A very slim one, to be sure. They are unlikely to risk him this year unless his recovery qualifies in the miraculous category.

The impending cyclone might play havoc with this match.

    Recruitment and retention

Max Plath extends till 2028. A man who was well down the pecking order at the Broncos is now the absolute backbone of the Dolphins.

    Injury and suspension updates

The current injury toll is as follows: T Flegler (shoulder, indefinite) T Fuller (knee, indefinite) O Keeley (foot, 2-4 weeks) J Bostock (knee, 4 weeks) D Saifiti (hamstring, day to day).

Saifiti did his hammy. He and Bostock unlikely to be available for Round 1.

The forwards got trampled on again. That will still be a major issue with this club. Bromwich looks totally unfit. What happened to Saifiti? He had a short, uninspiring stint and wasn't spotted again.

    Recruitment and retention

I did that and still no dice. You are thinking of Oregon Kaufusi of Cronulla who had a PO if he desired. Again, you are confused on that one. Let's just leave it at that and enjoy the footy tonight. I'm looking forward to the Hammer running amok.

Kaufusi is not mentioned anywhere in this article. I think you are confused again.
