And that would be Donga. Katoa is only on 45%. He needs to be dropped immediately.
Hahahahaha

A Donga hater (not you) took the bait but just shows how valuable he is to the Dolphins when he's in the team they have more chance of winning.

Every time I threw up Donga in the best 17 before the season started you did not agree once. When available Donga will be in the 17.

It’s taken lots of hurdles and hiccups I reckon now Keeley will hopefully nail his spot and when players eventually Keeley will make it very hard for Woolf I hope.

I think Keeley is in the team from now barring injury. As for Donga, mr_c mr_c is right. Based in his form the first 2 years under Bennett, he was making up the numbers. Only to be considered for NRL in the event of an injury crisis, which we have head every year so far. But full credit to Woolf for getting him to play much better and deserving of a spot in the 17.

because i couldn't envision that we get the long term injurys we had ,no one could n sorry to say that includes you no way on paper at the start of the year would we envision we were going be left with good chunk on the injured list

and aint you the fulla that bagged every forward n forward we had as two slow to old not good enough for nrl

i not about one or two players i am about what whole team does

two more exciting forwards coming next year plus maybe williams from uk will bolster things and again i see him on paper not getting 17 spot
cant just like a guy because you seen him with your mates ,

so maybe think , more than just two guys can do for team like a coach he thinks of his 30 and has faith in his 30 when others including you dont , after the start we had even before we won, you rubbished everything the curse the team the coach

still not seen one post where you praise woolf or the whole team

I can't understand a word Geoffrey writes most of the time. I just had a view that Woolf would back Donga and he would see the need especially with HIA's the need to have someone who's flexible in so many different positions. Dolphins last Friday cashed in when Cook was moved to the centres as Flanagan had zero coverage for backs cover. Plath said it clear as day in a podcast last year that Donoghoe will be the big beneficiary from the change of coach.

Why don’t you reply to mrc post rather than adding your own spin, you slagged every player off and the whole club, soulless was one word you used as well as not up to nrl standard. You’re a two faced flog who should have been kicked off the forum for attacking it and its members.

Donga is a versatile player who plays many different roles within the game. He's a straight out utility player.

Thank God for his versatility considering the many injuries that has again plagued this squad. He has been a revelation. I never thought that he would ever play a regular role with this club. He has got some skill and is as tough as they come. A pure footballer. Now, I understand why Woolf was so keen to sign him to an extension. He is now a big part of this club moving forward.

I bumped into Donga last year at the Butcher Boys Grand Final post game and he mentioned he was a lot more confident. He said he chose to initially take a one year deal instead of the two originally offered to him. He went that well in the pre-season Woolf quickly added another two years. Plath in a podcast said Donoghoe would be the biggest beneficiary from the change of coaches as he said Woolf really rates him. You can tell reading between the lines Bennett was apprehensive about him.

Some in here said Donoghoe wouldn't see first grade and wouldn't be re-signed he got extended before a ball was kicked.

Eventually he'll evolve into a specialist position whether that's lock, 5/8 or fullback it'll happen.

He must be thinking, "So much for the Bennett curse" more than anyone.

A long way to go in the season and this weekend is a real danger game Drinkwater and Purdue are elite and can strike from anywhere on the field. If the Cowboys backyard footy style they play sticks they rack up points in a hurry.

I would love to see Dolphins finish in the final four and make the grand final.

At 0-4 they looked so off the pace with fitness, energy, speed of play, intensity & appeared to lack a soul about them. To make the finals they will need a lot of luck which they've had zero so far this year. Full credit to Woolf for the 6-3 run since with nothing going their way. They need to keep it going and not drop off like they’ve done last two years. With the injury toll someone who yet to make the next step needs to really step up.

Positives the emergence of Katoa, Donoghoe & Keeley. The improvements of Averillo, Kerr & Lemuelu. Another positive been the signing of Molo and also how well Graham went in his 3 games after a horror 2024.

Katoa hasn't emerged. Just doing what has been predicted for the past few years.
