Round 8: Dolphins vs Canberra

Terrible effort by Finefeuiaki with that Canberra try.
 
What's with falling off all these tackles in the second half???

You all can’t blame Donoghoe for this.

I blame Donoghue for not being fit.

However, you do make some outrageous comments. Fitness not NRL standard. I mean seriously. Fitness wasn't the issue. We didn't start the 2nd half completing our sets. That leads to a lack of field position, and that led to the momentum shift.

See the NRL is a very easy game. Complete your sets and you go a long way to winning. We started the second half sloppy, not completing and giving away penalties. Then you're in trouble. And if I am blatantly honest, it's not an extremely technical game tactically in attack or defense for that matter. It's all possession and discipline, and as you rightly say fitness. And we didn't have the first two in the second half, because we didn't complete or sets and gave them extra.

Was a really poor second half no doubt at all but all the meek set restarts and the 2 penalties for what were absolutely correct play the balls really hurt us.
 
Right from the kick off in the second half there was a serious attitude problem with the defence.

Someone finds a way to blame someone who didn’t play

Dolphins lead by 18 lost by 12

Only Galvin will ensure they aren’t the story from today woeful second half
 
All fun and games till the opposition outscores you 30-0 in the second half. It's part of the learning process. Their injury toll really stung today.

The Dolphins are a relatively new team mate. That wouldn't have been a massive story anyway. I think the Bulldogs hammering will be more so, wouldn't you agree?

I'll say again, I don't think anyone has been overly hard on Donga, I just don't think you can see he has an error in him. He has excellent parts to games, but I'd like to see him turn that into excellent full games. Which isnt the case at this stage of his development. Woolf has a wrap on his potential, and rightly so, but he is a bit off yet.

The irony. I see you fight with mr.c. But fuck me, I thought you were him on a new account with a dictionary. Because whether you like it or not, your posts are very similar, the only difference being Grammar.

Your posts would be much better if you didn't make sweeping statements, gross generalization's and stuck to fact, with supporting material.

Actually, that's a life lesson right there.

I've always rated Donoghue. Just not as a hooker. Though it would have been nice to have him out there playing hooker today.
