I guess we will see this afternoon whether last week was was a false dawn for the Tigers or they are the real deal. There are no "easy games" but a win in this game and then the following week against Broncos missing a few key players will solidify our position at the top of the table heading into Origin.

Plath with the way he's been playing will be a big loss. I guess Ray Stone will start and Wallace come onto the bench.

Be confident boys!

I know I am.
They are going to be without an even more important player for them.

Team Tips: Max Plath is facing a two to three week suspension for a dangerous contact charge, with Ray Stone likely to start at lock. Anthony Milford is bidding for a return from a hamstring injury, but is unlikely to force his way into the team. Connelly Lemuelu is not due back from a knee injury until Round 6.

Be nice if Connelly could make it back a week early. But I don't think he's pushing Aitken out of a starting spot.

Whilst the Tigers are the feel-good team of the year, I must say Parra were blunt in attack, they were very bad. They had absolutely nothing.

I think Herbie will test Olam who was very bad last year. I think out forwards will test theirs.

100%. Tigers are a joke team usually however the last 2 weeks they have shown good defence. Galvin will be a loss and Bateman is a joke. Olam was lucky to miss with his attempted big hit as on the replay is was going to be a flat out shoulder charge and would probably copped a ban.

I think it really depends on which Tigers turn up on the day. good tigers we lose. Average tigers we win bad tigers Records are on the line.

Wallace is now way down the list. Can't even get a start with several injuries/suspensions in the forwards. Did he run over Wayne's dog or something like that?

Analysis: In the only change to the side that defeated the Titans, Ray Stone will start at lock after Max Plath copped a suspension for a hip-drop tackle. That opens up a spot on the bench which has been filled by veteran second-rower Kenny Bromwich.

As far as I know, Kenny was injured, not dropped. Though if he was dropped, it would be deserved. He left his form in Melbourne.

Hasn't he been 18th man the last two games? He was definitely dropped.

Not so much this weekend but for the year, good luck to Benji. Always liked him as a player even though I never supported any of the teams he played for. Who was the "genius" who pushed him out from the Tigers to start with?

Benji Marshall’s next test against mentor Wayne Bennett and brother Jeremy Marshall-King

Tigers are slowly proving doubters wrong this season. Marshall’s next test against the Dolphins holds a dual challenge of emotional significance: one in the form of his former mentor, and the other his brother.

Benji doesn’t expect a phone call from super-coach Wayne Bennett this week. Nor his younger brother Jeremy Marshall-King, the Dolphins hooker who has been at the centre of their flying start to the year. Marshall is unlikely to pick up the phone and ring them either as he prepares to take the high-flying Wests Tigers to Suncorp Stadium for a date with the league-leading Dolphins.

If Marshall can find a way to out-wit his mentor and put the clamps on his brother, there is every chance the Tigers will finish next weekend in the top four.
Not bad for a club that has spent a decade out of the finals and a coach who was written off in many quarters before the season began.

Marshall and the Tigers are slowly winning over their doubters and they can take another step forward with a win in Brisbane next weekend. That, however, is for later in the week. On Sunday afternoon, Marshall’s priority was celebrating a second successive victory, this time over Parramatta at a raucous Commbank Stadium.
