Did you see Matt while you were there? Probably not, because he was actually "at" the game, not the fantasy bullshit that you keep feeding us. You've never been "at" anywhere.
First time I've been to Suncorp since the 3rd Origin in 1999 when it was the old configuration confirms my view it's the absolute best Rugby League stadium in the world. I also enjoyed the Caxton experience visiting Lord Alfred and Milton hotels. I had a great night and so happy the Dolphins turned on an absolute treat yes had the Redcliffe Dolphins QRL jersey and cap on last night.
Trai Fuller and Tevita Naufahu both absolutely sensational and we can now all see why it won't be so bad replacing Jamayne Isaako with Naufahu a ready made first grader he showed that last year and I for one wouldn't have been disappointed if he retained his spot to start the season.
I'm currently on a two week road trip and part of the trip included last Saturday's Redcliffe Dolphins game at Toowoomba if you follow my personal IG page I absolute love the Toowoomba area and last night was at the NRL game catching up with various people. Right now at the Leagues Club and later today into Brighton for the BRL A/Grade game as I know the families of two players originally from the Bankstown area. Tomorrow I go to the Markets love it there and Monday back on the road trip to Burleigh and Tweed Heads.
There is no way George Williams should be dislodging the Nikorima/Katoa partnership they are absolutely firing. Hopefully Dolphins can find an exit from the Williams deal as the club is happy and firing don't want a suicide signing yes pointing to a Sydney club.
Jeremy Marshall-King and Kurt Donoghoe have added so much to the Dolphins since their returns they along with Herbie Farnworth and Isaiya Katoa are the four most valuable players at the Dolphins more maybe better but none more valuable.
Good to see Ray Stone get massive cheers when he came on and when he came off. He's one player who has really adapted so well to the new V'Landys rules.
Some very pleasing aspects and I'm so very happy is that fitness has improved remarkably, in the last 6 weeks they've been finishing stronger, discipline has improved out of night and they're not letting games slip. They did against Penrith and Warriors and learned from them but it's also helped both JMK and Donga returned as both players free so much attack up for Dolphins and also produce massive defensive efforts.
I also went to the Dolphins game against Canberra in Canberra that was a great night got to catch up with Brian Pouniu and Tevita Naufahu post game. There was barely a bay of us supporting Dolphins and most of the crowd was made up of family & friends who came to support the players who live in NSW plus debutant Pouniu. Amazing from the Dolphins to make sure Joseph was able to get there and look after him.
I was a massive JMK fan in his Bulldogs day when not many Bulldogs fans wanted him sacked. I was glad Dolphins signed him. I am disappointed Dolphins losing Jake Averillo but at least it's to Wests Tigers who will encourage his style of play and a likable Sydney side.
