The Dolphins have been forced into a halves reshuffle after five-eighth Kodi Nikorima was ruled out of Saturday’s clash with the Raiders due to a minor calf injury. Anthony Milford is promoted off the bench to partner Isaiya Katoa, the 29-year-old starting his first game of the season as the off-contract gun fights for his career.

“Kodi has had a bit of a calf problem for a couple of weeks, it’s not getting much better, so we’ve left him out and put Anthony Milford in,” Dolphins coach Wayne Bennett said.

“Anthony deserves an opportunity, he has trained great. “He had a hamstring injury and then a suspension and he has been back playing State League for the past three or four weeks. “All the feedback has been good about him so I’m pleased for Anthony and it’s an opportunity now.”

A massive game tonight, so much so that it could determine the team's fortunes re: post season play. I'd be prepared to say that a loss tonight would make it extremely difficult to qualify for September action.

Their second half schedule will certainly test them. Opponents such as Melb × 2, Bris, Cron, Roosters, Penrith will certainly determine whether this team is for real.

A win tonight will have them 8-4, they will still have to find five victories somewhere along the line but it will be an easier task than six if they fail tonight. Like I said earlier, they absolutely have to prevail tonight.

MOM- Katoa.

Bad timing playing one of the teams least affected by Origin.

I agree. Win this and we prove we deserve to be taken seriously. But with only 1 Origin player out for them..... it'll be hard. Lose and it'll probably be gard to scrape into the 8. The losses to Newcastle and against drastically understrength Warriors might prove to be our undoing this year.

Aitken started well in attack and defence. Starting to wonder why the club hasn't extended hIm.

Even Hammer would have struggled to catch that one.

Isaako is a shadow of what he was last year. Used to often break tackles and almost always fall on his front and get quick play the balls.

This year he gets hammered on a regular basis.

Canberra have been quite good. We are doing well to still be in the game.

The game is there for the taking if they are good enough. Canberra aren't exactly imposing and have been helped along by a couple penalties. I'm sensing a Darwin like offensive explosion in the second half.

Canberra deserve to lose as a result of that poor performance by Cotric.
