Recruitment and retention

I'm not a big wrap on Connor Watson as a 9 been found out in Origin when used at 9. Dolphins have a few Watson like players locked in like Max Plath and Donoghoe who you don't swap either for anyone else.

It's a shame they lost Graham and Marsh both very good prospects although I'm a massive wrap on Fineanganofo and Jordan Plath both are well worth investing into.

The George Williams signing will come to haunt Dolphins still not a fan of it and I reckon Dolphins are at the point they need to seriously pull the trigger on their pathways and unleash the next wave.
I think Bulldogs would love to get George Williams. Might be able to make a deal but we'd only want a 5/8, not Burton the centre, or hooker. 2 positions Dogs are lacking in.

Matt Burton would actually be the perfect 5/8 for Katoa. His kicking game is another level and with Katoa being a genuine 7 it'll make Burton more confident to back his running game.

Galvin is a 5/8 or lock not a halfback still a very good talent though.

No thanks to George Williams at Bulldogs or Dolphins.

Bulldogs should be trying to get Harrison Graham he's off contract and only on DEV.

woolf will play george well like all the other recurits you too and others rubbished watch his games in uk hes got plenty good touches n try assists , for mine non our up coming guys in our forwards look like they cab get permeant time in nrl on the way they play lets face it guys like lachlan n harrision got lucky because should of depth forwards in those clubs

Kicking game. One trick pony

No thanks. We have enough centres.

Ill say it again. That Williams signing is strange. Same was as I thought the Knowles signing was strange in an area we have plenty of players. At one stage I thought he must have been a prop.

Im hoping this isnt a recruitment trend. Whilst im no expert. This doesnt seem effective use of cap resources whilst hooker and 5/8th remain a glaring weakness.

No one said he isn't playing well. The point is, a lock is the last thing we needed. Who is going to miss out when Plath, Donoghue, Gilbert, Saifiti, Flegler, Molo, Kaufusi, Donoghue, Knowles are all fit? Typically at least 2 of them would miss out!

It would be a minor miracle if we had them all fit with our injury record

i would think the same as it is i see stone n kurt missing out unless the take plath out , when jmk comes in but again will depend on injurys really only see plath / kurt if they take them two out out if we have no injurys but we see dont see the senior lot been taken out

It would but I think in the event of several injuries among the same position, cheap young players would/should come into the team and the salary cap spent elsewhere.

Our spine has been really poor so far this season. Hammer has done very little. Niko and Kotoa have stunk it up. The stop gap hooker Plath is a very good lock but not a good hooker.

our spines been poor as we have get guys looking for ball, as they said the other night oppositions stop our halfs and we screwed without jmk his bsall speed play is so much quicker

Agree, think we need kodi to 9 and let’s get fuller in at FB see if we can get things moving

Agree on Fuller at fullback and I have Nikorima in the 14-19 roles.

I still believe Donoghoe has to be 6 or 13 not bench and if Knowles is moved to 14-19 or to Cup so be it.
