Recruitment and retention

Moving right along, we still have 2 or 3 slots in the top 30 available? And according to Zero tackle, we should have one more spot open for a development deal. If Averill is spending a lot of time training at 5/8 and we have Synider as a back up halfback, I can't see what positions we need to strengthen. Not at the moment anyway but I guess a few injuries will reveal somewhere we need to strengthen.

we will neeed anoth fulltime hooker by looks if jmk keeps going down

If we get a season ending injury early, we can dip back in. And having the extra slot as a buffer leaves us room for a disaster or taking advantage of some thats homesick

If we did get a hooker who is free that we would want anyway? Also agree about jmk I'm getting more and more nervous about him playing.
there lies the issue they so hard come bye but i just dont think we go the hooker recourses to still think having makeshift hooker isnt the option guess we soon see
Cameron Bukowski from broncos system looks a star in making

It would have to be someone from the ESL or someone who is yet to play first grade.
It would have to be someone that would know he was going to be relegated once JMK comes back, but is young enough and good enough to step up once JMK is phased out over the long term.

However, I agree and endorse this type of recruitment strategy.

If you want to take a punt I'll put up Brandon Smith. I've always thought he was a decent player, yes there are issues but having heard him open up on the bye round last week about his rehab i think a move away from the old crowd could help keep him on the narrow.

I think he's a much better forward than hooker and is signed to Souths for a few years anyway.

John fineanganofo sounds like the man of you are looking longer term than jyd.
he ain't no full time hooker though got me more and more wondering that we got george to put kodi there at hooker

having likes george kodi of bench helping kmk n izzy must surely wht hes looking at with not much full time hooker optioms

Plath brothers are very good 9 options I do like Max as a 9 and keeping Donoghoe at 13 or eventually move him to 6 where he aspires to be long-term in the NRL.

Jordan Plath's inclusion into the Redcliffe side last year as 80min no.9 helped turn their season around and eventually fall just 5mins short of a Grand Final appearance when it looked a distance away. Generally Redcliffe only done well at Cup when Fuller was in their team.

On the recent camp to Gold Coast they took half a dozen players outside the Top 36 one of them was Brent Woolf.

Can't agree with that. Kurt is a much better No.9 than Plath.
