Recruitment and retention

Yesh thought so. 90 quid is about $180 aud. For a 2 hour train ride. In qld we have 50 cent fairs.

I think Equaliser is right in his reasoning. But I think in the uks case, its cheaper for them to fly to amsterdam for a holiday, then it would be for someone to catch a train from brighton to london for work. I know, because I did all of the above in Jan.
you should have said you were over, we could have done a curry night or something. (p.s in no way expecting you to use your limited carryon weight to bring me club merch without the expensive postage :D)

Just when it starts to look they might be turning the corner on the field, management drags them right back down.

Regardless, a few more Sydney teams need to relocate (Sharks) or merge.
agree there and two most logical are Tigers and Sharks.

Sharks refuse to grow outside their bubble difference between them and Dolphins is that Dolphins take games to Suncorp where Sharks play all home games at a 13k venue that needs portaloos.

Tigers already merged. They have a large area in the north west of Sydney.

South West of Sydney which they don’t even care about. If the board keep killing each other they’re setup for a relocation, fresh start & complete new operation.

I thought Bulldogs were in the south west.

Just checked. Bulldogs are in the south west of Sydney but Tigers, the Wests part of the franchise, are south west of Sydney. Do they have the entire area from around Liverpool to Bradfield? No wonder they keep producing a lot of young players.

Liverpool is the boundary. Moorebank and Chipping Norton are Canterbury, Cabramatta and Mt Pritchard are Parramatta and everything else in Liverpool and heading towards Campbelltown, Camden and Mittagong are all Wests/Group 6. But Wests Campbelltown pulled out of the Wests Tigers JV in 2013 selling all their shares to Wests Ashfield (different leagues clubs) so since that time it's basically been an inner west club of Ashfield, Leichhardt and Concord with only token interest showed in the south west region. The Wests Junior League got placed into administration in 2019 and is now run by the NSWRL who call it Wests Tigers Macarthur DJRL.

Surprised he is in high demand at this stage of his career, to be honest.
I think players like molo are in higher demand than players like Josh Kerr, hence Kerr is gone, and molo has a chance to get extended or re signed and may very well benefit the club and himself in the process.

I was very worried when he fell out at the dragons and we took him on because I assumed he was being unreasonable with the club, but he changed my opinion very quickly.

He got pissed at Dean Young, an assistant at the Dragons for comments he made about Molo.

All alleged, obviously. However, Molo wanted out after that and we capitalized. Its was then revealed that Molo benefited from the Dragons giving him money in advance for House renos (i could be wrong, you might want to check that). And thats where all the shit talking started, with both Dean and Molo being painted in a bad light.

I always think the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Signing Molo from the Dragons was a worry for me, considering the information above. However, I sat and watched, and despite what the truth may be, he played well, and based on that I say resign.

Molo is 100x better than Josh Kerr but he's 31 or 32 this year?

Edit: He's turning 32 in September. If it were Haas or Tino or Fonua-Blake or maybe Flegler I could understand them still getting interest from other clubs at that age but for Molo...... I'm surprised.

yup dean made a comment about his prior issues of the heavy drinking he had ( but was free of booze for two years ) and the club said was light hearted but yeah with someone that has mental health like he does( molo dont think he wanted to be apart of it )

Where did you get this info? I heard Dean Young told him he should attend a club event even though alcohol was being served there.

I didnt want to say it.

However, Dean Young told him he should go to the event, he doesn't have to drink.

Molo, had recently stopped.

The issue being, Molo did nothing at the time. Went and played international football, then came back, and it was an issue well after the fact.

All alleged. He is a Dolphin, so I will back him.

Allegedly, some supporters of the Dragons believe he got a whisper of more money elsewhere, then it became an issue. Those close to Molo claim mental health and that it had always been an issue.

As I said above, I back Molo, and the Young's probably haven't conducted themselves that well in the past, especially when Mr Finch was an issue and needed a character reference on a st george letterhead.
