Recruitment and retention

So its been known for a while we pulled out of the DCE competition.

Now I am hearing he has signed for 2 years with the Bulldogs, and not the Roosters. Not sure about my source 100%, however he seems certain.

If the Bulldogs did sign him, that'll do me in relation to the salary cap.

Especially after they just signed Latu Finau from the Dragons.

KATOA METEORIC PAY RISE​

The surprise revelation of the agents’ valuation of players comes with Katoa. Player agents have Katoa third-most likely to break through the $2 million barrier, with the Panthers junior (7.7 per cent) even ahead of Ponga (5.8 per cent).

Katoa is just 21 and, despite being contracted with the Dolphins until the end of 2028, by the time he finishes his career he could become the highest-paid player in NRL history. Ex-Kangaroos five-eighth Matty Johns was full of praise for Katoa. “I think Katoa can be the No.1 player in the game,” Johns said. “For a young player he has so much with the ball in his hand. He is a franchise player for the Dolphins.”

i going be interested to see what happens re the 6 for us does kodi carry on or are they going buy in now dce is outta the equation
 
Obviously only for the remainder of the year but with Broncos paying most of his wage, Marty Taupau would be a good depth signing. Specially if Flegler isn't back this year.

He's now been sent packing from 4 clubs.

The crime he done much much less than Cobbo's podcast and we won't even go into Mam however Dolphins aren't exactly the fittest or hardest training side so lets not add a lazy player who was past his best 4 years ago.

Dogs are nothing. Genuine premiership contenders have either choked and got run down or thrashed the Bullgrubs.
