Recruitment and Retention for 2027

For the moment, do we need another prop? We have:
  • Molo
  • Kaufusi
  • Flegler
  • Gilbert
I think we need to promote from within over the next 2 years. Not sign a straight replacement.
You could be right. Is that rotation good enough for top 8/ top 4?

might not be wise especailly if fuis n tom f seb all coming of contract next year as well as a player for dan this year non of our junior props look stand outs if we loose someone in next season to injury

must work in our favour havig 11 spots in next years 30 to fill especailly when a lot have between 4 -10 spaces depending on the team

DOLPHINS’ BIG STRIKE

The Dolphins have scored a massive retention coup by upgrading the hottest backline property in Queensland likened in style to Dally M superstar Jahrome Hughes.

Sport Confidential can reveal Cornelius Kelsall has rejected interest from two NRL rivals to ink a three-year upgrade with the Dolphins.

The 17-year-old attends Keebra Park High, the school that has produced a number of NRL stars including Reece Walsh, David Fifita and Payne Haas.

Cornelius Kelsall is considerd one of the brightest playmaking prospects in the land.

Now Kelsall is on the rise at the Dolphins, who have secured the quick-stepping fullback or five-eighth until the end of 2029.

Former Dolphins recruitment boss Peter O’Sullivan first lured Kelsall to the club and says the promising utility back attacks and moves like Storm and Kiwi Test playmaker Hughes.

The Dolphins have huge wraps on Kelsall, who is expected to join the NRL full-time squad next year.

another allround player seen him all postions in the backs n halfs

So i read a zero tackle article. Saying George Williams is still yet to be confirmed by the Dolphins. STRANGE as fuck.

They suggested its widely understood that he is coming though.

becacuse the need to wait till the wolves signed there replacement i would say now croft signed it be done soon, pretty hard to release some when they dont have a replacement

George Williams Article

It's understood he will be joining the Dolphins for 2027, however, the Australian club are yet to confirm the news, and when Zero Tackle reached out to the Redcliffe-based outfit just under a fortnight ago, we were told there was "no confirmation" on a move for Williams.

No, more likely because he's had neck surgery and they want to see how it works out.

I'm off for my annual trip to the challenge cup next week. Wigan, Hull Kr. i don't think there is much talent in the SL these days apart from Junior Nsemba who i'm really suprised hasn't been hoovered up by and NRL team.

Thats makes sense. Thanks for that.

The article i posted is a crap source here. However, if you read the article closely and my highlighted quote. It said they asked the club, and quoted the clubs response of no confirmation.

Which is all we have heard for a while.

Surgery would explain the delay in confirmation.

I think he's only just had it and they are keeping extra quiet about what it was actually for. Normally someone knows him who knows them and leaks but this is being kept well under wraps.

Media was reporting it well before injury but wolves never had replacement lol wolves hardly going allow a player to leave without one not that hard to think of , when it was in media who wolves had to replace him
