Are there plans for us to field a NRLW team?
I really believe one of the reasons for the Norths partnership was because their women's programme is way ahead of Capras who in turn are many miles ahead of Redcliffe.

Talking of promising juniors Joel Gould from AAP has confirmed Tevita Naufahu has been promoted to a Top 30 contract.

Joel for those who don't know him is one of the only 2 journos consistently around the Dolphins setup the other Kylie Knight from Moreton Daily.

So the club is looking at a NRLW team relatively soon? I've never heard about that but it's a good idea.

I didn’t say that I just said the Norths partnership

Redcliffe are way down on their women’s programme as opposed to Capras and Norths

I know you didn't. That's why I asked.
But Capras and Norths don't have an NRL team so there is no possibility of them having a NRLW team.

Well neither do Redcliffe Dolphins

But you need a pathways system & program to get an NRLW licence the Redcliffe part of the feeder system is non existent in womens.

Norths are holding the entire womens system together.

You do know Norths are a Dolphins NRL pathways partner?

During 2023 Dolphins got under Broncos guard to get Norths on board and I still believe a key reason was to fast track the women’s programme as it doesn’t exist with Redcliffe.

You and others bag me because firstly Dolphins as much as I love them are my no.2 sporting side in any sport and I don’t tolerate not performing to expectations which they showed in the last 2 games they’re a top 4 side. However I seem to be one of the few in here that follows all the grades with the affiliate sides.

Redcliffe Dolphins have an NRL team in all but the name, "Redcliffe". Which is incredibly annoying.

Excuse me sir but The Redcliffe Dolphins do have an NRL team. They are called, "The Dolphins". Head office is in the Redcliffe Leagues Club in Scarborough next to one of the Dolphins home grounds.

Yes I do agree there Josh. The point was more on the women's programme which Redcliffe Dolphins in the Queensland League's haven't got their women's programme up to speed by adding Norths Devils into the Dolphins family of pathways and partnerships fast tracks the Dolphins NRLW women's programme as does having CQ Capras.

Norths and Capras field teams in the BMD Premiership Redcliffe don't.

I barely drink I only have a beer when I visit a Dolphins fan.

We all know the NRL team is Redcliffe Dolphins in name and I've been one of the few to defend Dolphins on just using Dolphins name to get around them not being allowed to use Redcliffe unless it's rebranding the entire QRL & Junior League club name. Because there isn't an official name people call them Redcliffe and idiot clubs like Brisbane Broncos play into the Dolphins hands with all of that.

Norths and Capras are affiliate and pathways partners of Dolphins NRL and both clubs in a lot of training gear have the Dolphins NRL logo. Both those clubs and Dolphins NRL celebrate the partnership and they all benefit from each other. Norths are a very well run club and their coaching systems are first class only a benefit to the Dolphins whereas without Dolphins I have doubts the Capras would be able to exist or at best be Clydesdales levels.

A big beneficiary of the Dolphins NRL partnership with Norths and Capras is what they have in women's especially Norths. Both sides compete in the BMD Premiership unfortunately Redcliffe don't. For as wonderful Redcliffe Dolphins have been and continue to be in the Queensland senior & junior leagues their women's programme for whatever reason wasn't up to speed.

Here's a copy of the draw here and you see Redcliffe not in it: https://www.qrl.com.au/draw/?competition=179
