Dr Martin Lang these days doing very well for himself post football.

The other player in the photo is Elijah McKay he's part of the Dolphins pathways system. He's a centre from Rockhampton Tigers & St Brendans Yepoon turns 19 in February 2026.

A couple of familiar names will do the preseason with the Dolphins. Noah Fien will train alongside his father Nathan, the former Cowboys Warriors and Dragons player who is now an assistant coach at the Dolphins. Noah is a silky half who starred for the Dolphins in the Mal Meninga Cup. Adaquix Watts-Luke, the son of ex-Souths and New Zealand hooker Issac Luke, is an explosive fullback who killed it at schoolboy level this year. Carter Ford, Cody Starr and Tyreece Tait are another few names to keep an eye on - Ford is the son of Broncos and Queensland Carl Webb, Starr’s father Adam is a Redcliffe legend while Tait is a Queensland under 19 representative who has been compared to Josh Addo-Carr.

Loved Fien at the Dragons. If his son is anything like him. He will be worth the effort.
 
Christmas / New Year break started today. Hardest part of the pre-season over for most. From when they return it's more ball-work and getting combinations right rather than fitness and gym work. There is still a lot of fitness and gym work but the worst part of it is over.

And the heat now in Qld makes it tougher.

Flegler looks fit fyi. Saw him at the local last night.

Its the only place to eat really. He is at the coffee shop or the pub. Both consider my local when i say.

I'm out at the local (coffee shop) at about 6am for my morning brew everyday. If you lived in my area, you would now know who I am. However, I see him drive past most mornings off to training, as I sit there watching cars go by as I get my morning caffine.

If Flegler was reading this, he would know how I am now too.
 
We just secured our tickets for Darwin in April. I've yet to attend a Dolphin match and I've certainly haven't been to a footy match in the Top End. We are looking forward to it. Darwin is always a lot of fun. Grandstand tickets still available if any of this forum's members are keen to make the trip. It should be a ripper of a contest.

All good. Just as long as he's back for round 1. Which would give us such a formidable front row rotation. Saifiti, Molo and Flegler........ Is there a better front row rotation?

Forgot about him. If at any stage the pack is at full strength, wouldn't surprise me if Kaufusi is (C) of Redcliffe. He let us down with his ridiculous ill discipline a few times last season.

Cant be doing it this season. Semi final teams dont give away heaps of free tackles
 
he's getting game time so obviously doing what the coaches want, hardly see them changing a captain
