no one would do that fuis is one the niceset guys you can meet , lot guys get caught up in the moment it happens , but purposely no way wears heart on his sleeve
Never met the guy obviously, but i don't think people would last in pro sport these days if they intended to injure people. maybe 30 years ago but now there is far too much money on the line. I've often felt he plays hard and on the line the big problem is when it comes to reviews he always ends up copping the worst compared to the same or worse from other players.

Having a half like Katoa and saying play heads up, play what you see, fits head perfectly. You can see it in his interview with Josh Mansour. Katoa has the intelligence and ability to deliver this for our team.
Just don't make him Captain, you want to keep him free from burden and play the moment.

To be aggressive like Ray Stone is good. But there were a couple of times last season where I just had to shake my head in regard to Kaufusi. The game against the Warriors which we ended up winning with a last minute try was the point where I went off Kaufusi. In a vital game, with us a couple of points behind, with the injury toll we had in the forwards, in the last 10 or so min and Kaufusi hit the Warriors player late and high. Was penalised, sin binned and suspended. I was stunned personally. That wasn't so much being aggressive but purposely trying to sabotage our chances. That was the way I saw it.
I've just found it on youtube the rd 22 game he was binned in the 73rd min for a cannonball/hip drop/ 3rd man/ shit show. However if you watch it he does appear to slip on his left foot and fall. The fact its broke Jacob Labans leg made it look alot worse than it really was.

In the rd 11 game Fisher Harris smashed Harrison graham in the face late in the game and got binned and only received a 1 match ban.

just to say both were rated grade 2

Your old team got Koloamatangi. Up there with Haas for the best prop in the game IMO.
Yeah got some info on that.

My comment would be 1.1 mil on a forward will be wasted on that side without a halfback to direct them and create out wide once he makes space.

IF they plan only playing him with the quality of forwards they currently have (S'Ua excluded) he will be busted in 3 years of his 5 year deal.

Good signing, but they need a lot more.

Kyle Flanagan is the worst player in the competition.

Thier elephant in the room is Kyle and the coach, and how the coach tells his son he isnt an NRL level player.
Coach thinks his son is the best player in the competition. One of the best ever. I'm just surprised those above the coach haven't sat him down and delivered some harsh truths and an ultimatum that he stops picking his son or they can both pack their bags.

Ive been there. Might have mentioned, I coached thr top level of womens football. My daughter was in the team I coached.

I get it. However, she was the first player I had in tears most times.

Never took favourites. She always complained i was hardest on her.

Shane will eventually lose his job because of his son. Mark my words

What a Dad! Has a manic desire for his son to play NRL instead of doing something he's good at. How is the son going to look the Dad in the eye when Dad is sacked because he keeps picking his son who is relegated to park football as soon as his Dad is sacked.

It might just be a job for Shane.

Like most. Means to an end.

In this case he is gett8ng two salaries from the organisation. One for him, one for his son.

To keep those, he needs results.

If the Dragons are silly enough to keep paying him to finished second last, whilst stealing 2 salaries. Its on them.

like a guy i know who played at the club under bennett told me aint the coach or his son thats the issue

club management is the issue top 8 postions in 2015 218 prior to that 2010 premiership and 2011 5th

like he said coach killer clubs ( like few others north qld knights ( in a way warriors tigers gc nothing will change as club thinks to highly of themself to change themself ) you can see why man dragons ex players distance themself from club as clubs management runing the club something i never want here

It's this kind of mess that makes me glad the dolphins are what they are. I always think that so far they really do belong to the modern game, where so many of the old clubs do not.

I guess technically speaking, Tigers and Dragons are new teams. But as far as I know, Dragons have long been an old boys club and the old boys might well have been very good players but aren't good administrators, coaches, talent scouts and etc. And their current coach has a very widely publicised issue with team selection. One has to give it to him for sticking to his guns on the issue.

I didn't know what was the problem with the Tigers until I read it here. Wests are paying all the money but most of the administrators are from the Tigers side. Not sure how they went so wrong on the field. Paying overs for duds. Though I think they might have gotten it right now and be a hard team to beat next year.

If or when both can get it right, in theory they'll both be powerhouses. But then again, Gold Coast should be a powerhouse as well. At least compared to Sharks, Rabbits, Roosters, Dogs to a lesser extent.

Looks like he has decided something like, "Fuck it! I'd rather get sacked than drop my boy." You are right about the Tigers. I think they might be the Canberra from this year. The team which surprises everyone. Maybe not minor premiers but top 8. The young players Benji promoted early are now at or close to the top of their game. I'm going with this in no particular order.

Sorry Matt, Bulldogs to miss out. They have two 5/8s but not a halfback. Fullback and hooker also very average.

And the Bulldogs look like they want to punt Matt Burton. The best thing about the Bulldogs was their field position, more often than not obtained on the back of their kicking game. And their solution is to get rid of the person that gave them that advantage.

Again, they'll be back out of the 8 fighting for 9th pretty soon.

They also won't have Mahoney, who I know has his problems and does cause issues with penalties, but I am thinking letting go of him is a big mistake.

Parramatta went downhill after he left, possibly by chance, the dogs got better every year they had him, and at the end of 2025 when they were trying to phase him out they started losing worse and worse.

If the cowboys improve I'll be the first to say I called that it was Mahoney that made the change but looking at their other issues I don't know he will be the difference, but improvement follows him, and clubs decline without him.

The whole Bulldogs saga of mucking with their spine for Galvin makes me scratch my head no matter how I look at it.

Even if Galvin is going to be as good as some say, seemed like a strange signing with Burton already locked up long-term.

Not our problem. Looking forward to seeing us play them again and thrash them again.

they won't be keeping burton long term at halfs he be back in centre or fullback

thing i don't get they let the two gun half's come here from dogs but want get rid of there seniors halfs in favor of two that really ain't show a great dea, yes one has huge rapt on him but come on two young halfs together would suggest pressure will go on big time ( tells mw team and there halfs are on hiding to nothing if senior halfs go )
