Lewis Symonds part of the Development list is now relegated to the extended bench for Capras.

Dolphins brought in Sebastian Sua a year earlier as part of a swap deal with Mason Teague and still hasn't been sighted in any of the pathways squads this year.

I'm happy with the Sua signing for 2026 but signing him for 2025 doesn't seem logical.

These little mistakes same as Michael Waqa until he was released can't be afforded when moving forward as the NRL is a cut throat business and clubs need to have depth ready to go in the Top 36.

Hammer and Gilbert are out of the Bulldogs game next week and it's very unlikely Plath, Saifiti and JMK are returning next week.

Hits and misses are common for every club. It's hard to say because it happens so rarely but I think it happens to a lot of new teams. As for Sua and Teague, it's strange because I think Teague was closer to NRL but it might have been something to do with Teague's request. He's from Sydney.

I don't buy the "homesick" BS they come up with in order to get out of contracts at all. Not as if Sydney and Brisbane are on other sides of the world. But it's often got to do with the family, not the player.

thats simply it , and with the fact we have 3 feeders now we have a stack of talent 2 so we realistly cant keep them all

like i remember when ricky stuart first started coaching he said some guys maybe say 3rd choice half in one club but get brought to be the 1st choice in another , its like outside in real word very rare to see one person stay in one company all there career, just trust n mould what club has we doing very well with juniors and like some great players as juniors let one club to join another club and didnt preform same with guys that come here

su'as got a injury it will take time so he was either going sit out at knights or here ( i rather here as he can see what we do and what woolf wants him to todo for 26

Did anyone hear Kristian Woolf interview on SEN yesterday?

He was talking about possible fullback option against Bulldogs and he said Fuller isn't far away and be negligent to pick him against Bulldogs that says to me his return via QCup is now any week.

yes two players if price is right unsure who yet
Almost every club is interested in every player if the price is right. But by this stage of the season, only a month before squads have to be completed, I can't imagine any NRL standard backs are available.

Incredibly, the Dolphins jump three spots on the ladder by simply having a bye weekend. That almost never happens. That's the advantage in having a decent f/a.

It is sitting right there for them. They control their own destiny. A patch of good form would see them firmly entrenched in the 8 and pushing for top 4. Who would have thought that was possible after four rounds? I'm jumping the gun here, I realise that. But, we have seen enough of them to be aware of their capabilities and they certainly are capable. The next four matches are pivotal. It will make or break them.

Edit: That ladder is incorrect. The Dolphins are on 12 points. Still in 10th, though.
