Hey Geoffrey got watch what Isaako said in 2023 about playing fullback. I know you struggle to put two words together but surely you can do a simple google search :)

Why do you two take this so personally?
I think Kurt D might have a chance. If he is starting the year as fullback for Capras.

Because they think he can play anywhere just because played one trial at fullback

I said previously, unlike Kodi he can't play anywhere. 5/8 or fullback. Anywhere else he will struggle.

Kodi is 30, isn't he?
31 he's just a specialist 5/8 these days maybe the odd pass from dummy half those utility days are long gone.

The role of centre has changed since he was playing there, there's way more fullback options within the team plus he's lost a few yards of speed, doesn't have the kicking game to be a halfback and gets monstered in the forwards. Last year except for two games being Broncos at Suncorp when Hammer went down (Milford on bench) and the last round he played specialist 5/8 in all games he was selected.

I do believe Dolphins have Donoghue earmarked for the no.17 jersey in the squad without a specialist position.

guys who are utility , will be only in side for injury's there be no way he be in the 17 without them

the current bench wont change and he be better used in the cup side similar what trai is better used in cup side just wastes players for cup side

especailly if they been looking at halfs ( and unless majior injuries in backs hes not going get there ) nor in forwards without injury

Excellent news:

Dolphins' utility Kurt Donoghoe has signed a two-year contract extension, securing his future at the club until the end of the 2027 season.

The extension marks the Fijian international's second contract renewal in just three months, having previously re-signed for the 2025 season in late December.

"The way Kurt trains and the way he competes in matches, he brings a real spark to the game," said Dolphins' CEO Terry Reader.

"Since making his debut for the Dolphins in our first-ever match, Kurt has developed his ability to cover multiple positions, and that is why he is so important to the team."

Primarily listed as a half, Donoghoe has also featured at fullback and hooker during the pre-season, showcasing his adaptability within the Dolphins squad.

His extension ensures the Dolphins retain a highly flexible and reliable player capable of contributing across multiple roles in the years ahead.

What is your relationship with him? Related? I think he goes ok. Obviously he goes ok but O mean for a top 30 player in an NRL club he goes ok. Just as long as he isn't playing hooker. That's not his game.

VC. Because isn't on for the full 80 min. Will be gone during the rep season. Also plays hard in the middle. Last 2 big injuries could happen to anyone but expect him to miss some games every season due to niggling injuries.

None only met him twice at a training session in 2023 and had a beer with him after the Real NRL Grand Final back at Central Charlestown Leagues Club.

If anyone other than JMK is playing hooker for Dolphins this year the side is in trouble.

Donga is the best utility at the Dolphins that is without any doubt anymore and the line Geoffrey used about not being here after 2025 is now completely gone. The bloke deserves some support instead of the hate pile on.

I thought it would be Herbie as well. On the field he seems like more of a talker. Gilbert always seemed to me to go about his business on the field without talking a lot. But I guess Woolf knows what they are like better than us. Still need Flegler back for the second half of the season if we are to seriously challenge to be one of the top teams, like top 4.
