    2026 Finals

This is hard. Whole team was good. Hell, even Schneider at lock, which had me scratching my head, was good. But I'll go with: 3. Averillo 2. Pouniu 1. Fuller

    2026 Finals

Took our foot off the pedal a little. Was the right idea. Don't want any injuries. Have to be content with a measly 68-14.

    80 points is still possible.

    2026 Finals

Ok, 90 isn't on the table but behind by 48 with 27 minutes to go, the Penrith player gets up celebrating enthusiastically after a try.:ROFLMAO: Look at the scoreboard!

    2026 Finals

Penrith have put the cue in the rack. Game has turned into a bit of a joke. Can we get to 90?

    2026 Finals

This is ridiculous! We might put 80 on them! First half standouts: Fuller Kaufusi Naufahu Pouniu Averillo

Nice individual try to Averillo playing 5/8. I would have liked to see more of him playing 5/8.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

True. It might be a better idea to talk about the % of the cap but good luck with the math of doing that with a whole squad. With the cap as it is now, 1 million or 1.1 max. He's way more involved than other centres and is a menace almost every time he is involved but still, a centre typically...

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

Rumour has been going around for months the Roosters can afford him. Don't ask me how. They talk about the Roosters salary sombrero. I think there is your answer.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

100%. As the best centre in the game, I think he's worth about 1 mil a year. 1.1 max.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

The idea is they are worth much more on the open market now than when they first signed for the Dolphins.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

Every player wants to play with ******** (a top player) but what is more important to them? Playing with ******** for 20% less money or going elsewhere? I think you'll find the answer is almost always the latter.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

This rumour has been going on for so long. I think we are going to lose him. So much for not being able to approach him until November 1st. Roosters don't need to worry about the rules. Nonu has fallen away. So Bostock is going to be one centre. Who is going to partner him?

    Offseason

Congrats to Herbie Farnworth and Selwyn Cobbo on making the Dally M team of the year. Hopefully next year we can have a couple of forwards in contention as well.

    2026 Finals

I fully understand where you are coming from. It's a hard one but I believe if foul play, even somewhat innocuous, results in a very serious injury, the culprit can't get away with a slap on the wrist. TBH, I think 4 weeks is a bit of a slap on the wrist. As I said previously about Kaufusi. He...

    2026 Finals

If he had grabbed one cm lower or higher or Cleary has run 2° straighter or something like that and he stood up, played the ball and went about the game, Crossland probably wouldn't have even been penalised. But the severity of the injury matters. I thought he was probably lucky to get away with...

    2026 Finals

I know it's not the Dolphins game we were all hoping to see this weekend but Redcliffe will be playing Penrith in the state championship game.

    Recruitment and Retention for 2027

A lot of us have expressed surprise and unhappiness about Williams signing but I don't think Wolff has. He'll probably be really good next year. Given his age, the year after and the year after that worry me. But now Kodi is gone, we are definitely all in with Williams.

    World cup

I didn't know they played for Samoa. That's how much I follow international games. That's what I expect. If Haas and Crighton are out, it might mean Fa'asuamaleaui goes to starting prop and Tom Gilbert comes onto the bench. As for centre, might be Staggs.
