Good. Lets see who else we can poach from the Broncos as a result of him signing with them.
Don't really need any of them. By the time we do, our own pathways system will be fully developed.

That doesn’t sound like Hunt.

Where did this info come from. I know he signed with the Broncos, thank god!!!!!. But knocking back 200k. Hhhhhhmmmm
Yes Dolphins offered 1.4 Broncos offered 1.1-1.2

If this doesn’t motivate the players & coaching staff to train harder & improve after a player basically said Dolphins can’t win nothing will ever inspire them to success

Yeah, he signed for $600k.

However, I think the nrl can value it at 800k, as per nominal value rules.

Fuck I am glad he didn’t come.

However, I am encouraged that we are looking at someone to partner Katoa.

We can do better then Hunt

I can see why Dolphins went for Hunt. They need to land just that one big fish that others were seriously chasing to land confidence in the marketplace that Dolphins are a destination club and Woolf is the real deal. There's four new coaches at clubs next year McGuire, Ryles and Bennett are getting very favourable coverage whereas Woolf is largely on a negative scale.

The only player to come to Dolphins that faced competition from another club been Flegler who the Roosters wanted ahead of Leinu. They only went to Leinu after Flegler signed with Dolphins. This meant the Bulldogs who at that stage the only bidders for Leinu missed out.

Hammer as terrific as he's become at all levels was a bench player at Cowboys.

Walters had two perfect chances to release Mariner and sack Cobbo which would have made their passage to keeping Farnworth a piece of cake. Broncos and Walters prioritised Mariner and Cobbo ahead of Farnworth gifting him on a platter to Dolphins.

So landing that one big fish changes so many perceptions about the club and coach and makes it more attractive for future premium players to want to join. But in saying all this there's something about Hunt I just don't like and I believe for the Dolphins long-term future better to miss on this one.

With Kaufusi, Nicholls and Bromwich all leaving the scene end of next year landing Leo Thompson is a must. To nail him ahead of Gould and O'Sullivan would be amazing for the club.

Not a very good centre. Does a job in defence but very rarely breaks a tackle in attack.
to be honest there wouldnt be a Centre pairing that has the same attack stats his stats will only improve and yes i see him more in halfs now with junior coming especailly with juniors speed but the fact we signed kodi suggest he be more used in halfs but i guess we just wait aww if he ( kodi is 14 or 7)

Lyhkan King-Togia we still chasing him him hard to be here 4 26

Plenty of ceentre pairing with much better stats than ours from last year. Herbie was centre of the year and well deserved. Must have been up there for player of the year. The other side had little impact.

Dolphins have the 2nd and 3rd best centres in the game take your pick who's 2nd and 3rd between Hammer and Herbie.

Fuller being out means Hammer more than likely is now the first choice fullback unless Averillo goes there.

I feel centre is Averillo's 3rd most effective position after 5/8 and fullback. Averillo's best games at Canterbury came as a fullback but his time in the halves was destroyed by Barrett who tried to turn a 5/8 into a halfback.

I thought he flopped as a centre this year and his best game was at 5/8.

I know many are fans of Nikorima I'm not a huge wrap on him as a week to week NRL player.
