I disagree about Kaufusi. He's not the player he was but he still goes ok. Stone also goes ok. He's never been a game breaker. Just a hard running, hard tackling middle. He's still that. Though with Plath and Gilbert fit, not sure where Stone fits in.

wouldn't read to much into that Michaels doing everything told of him like the other juniors in the cub that are on delopment or in the 30

micheals 20 years old been in the system along time tasted origin junior level , from all reports he ticks all the boxes then some

guess we see in few years just how good phins production line is especailly for talent few them juniors have

I am well informed actually and have been around rugby league at all levels for a long time. These stories are not mine to tell though ..people just keep believing what they are fed without knowing all the facts. Stone isn't a top 17 player he's a fill-in depth player. Kaufusi is coming to the end he hasn't fully stopped like Bromwich or ready to hit the immediate end like Nicholls but if he continues next year he could fizzle out.

Exactly.

I have been around sport and admin/development for a long time.

A lot of information you read now is to sell papers, generate clicks or promote profiles.

It was interesting. Someone here was speaking about the signing of Flegler and why he stayed in qld.

I didn’t make comment. Because I actually know why he stayed. I didn’t comment because it’s no bodies business.

Suffice to say, it’s not the reasons given in the media.

Even with the poor fellas injury. I kept saying that’s not what I have heard, in relation to retirement and the paper reports of his surgery.

Everything I was told said he was Gucci. But that doesn’t sell papers or make stories.

It's a matter of when not if as to when Flegler is back he's progressing well. Yes I know someone very connected to Flegs, Herbie & Kerr.

Did anyone hear Woolf on Triple M today?

He was asked about Katoa and he said Katoa will be the Dolphins halfback for the next 10-15 years. When they pressed him about DCE he said Katoa will work with any player and he said any player at the club has to work with Katoa being the halfback.

They asked him about Hammer and Super League.

There were loads of headlines and news reports in Sydney about Manly and Penrith being very keen and whenever a player potentially enters the market Gus is always willing to offer a Chinese feed.

nah far from the king thats the guy you suck fingers for

as for val knew him right from young age in rugby he failed to listen then and people still gave him chances all the fans here wanted ws a cult hero ( in there 1st year as a team am i right ) what percentage didnt , also he had guys helping him n still balloned back to wieght he was before he took it seriously

its no suprise that hes back at rugby in low level comp earning about 120k a season, and going well as they don't stick to there contracts you stuff up and your gone n he knows that

as for your comments about everythig else all it is is podcast n media hype two weeks ago you were going on about the curse of bennett but wait we win media says nothing you say nothing fun that eh

It's so easy to make it up and this latest Katoa one was started by an arrogant Penrith fan who put 2 plus 2 plus 2 and got 25. But I honestly do believe Manly and Canterbury did reach out to Katoa. Gus hasn't exactly rushed to re-sign Sexton and has attempted to pursue Hunt and now looking at DCE.

After hearing Woolf interview on Triple M last Saturday I don't think DCE is coming to Dolphins as he said and repeated that Katoa will be halfback and whoever plays 5/8 has to work with Katoa being the halfback. He was so clear on that.

DCE won't be coming and very much doubt any other clubs reached out to Katoa. Not worth the risk of getting caught. Not for clubs, not for player managers.
