Only way it makes sense is if Williams has come cheap as fuck, or less them what Kodi wanted to stay.
It's been confirmed now.Maybe but you know what they say about smoke, and there is a lot of it.
I don't know if he'll go to the Dragons but I can't see him staying with us. The moment Williams was signed, I think Kodi was out the door despite the big words by Woolf about keeping both.
Williams is on a 3 year/$2.4M deal, hence the inability (or the need) to retain Niko.Only way it makes sense is if Williams has come cheap as fuck, or less them what Kodi wanted to stay.
You don't have any understanding of the salary cap. But, you can't help that. Whatever pctg the cap increases, the players on current contracts increase their salary by that exact same pctg. So, your theory is flawed.that not to bad money for 3 years with cap going up not to worried especailly when there be other guys we need upgrade too
Big call by Woolf. I hope it goes well for him. If it falls flat, I think that's the end of his NRL coaching career.Williams is on a 3 year/$2.4M deal, hence the inability (or the need) to retain Niko.
Yep, it could be a master-stroke. But, you are correct. If it all fucks up, it could cost him his job. Bennett and O'Sullivan built this franchise and he is dismantling it before they even make one playoff appearance. I hope he knows what he is doing. I have a feeling that he is not near as intelligent as he thinks he is. Time will tell.Big call by Woolf. I hope it goes well for him. you need do better than that, champ not hard to find out what nrl cap breakdowns are not talking of what they on but more what each tier group of players would be onYou don't have any understanding of the salary cap. No. He's absolutely right. Players get paid as a % of the cap, not a fixed amount. Otherwise no player would sign for longer than the current cap is in place.you need do better than that, champ not hard to find out what nrl cap breakdowns are not talking of what they on but more what each tier group of players would be on
for sure but more talking about as you say the percentage there are news articles that have broken down the percentages of how many players are paid in each percentage bracket hence my comment of georges contract , we lost few big percentage bracket players in my eyes so could afford get higher end precentageNo. He's absolutely right. Deardon is 12% of the salary cap.No. He's absolutely right. Players get paid as a % of the cap, not a fixed amount. Otherwise no player would sign for longer than the current cap is in place.
yeah i would say all the marquee players would be about thatDeardon is 12% of the salary cap.
The only player that person was adamant was gone has done two extensions since in Kurt Donoghoe. You don't have any understanding of the salary cap. But, you can't help that. Once again it's been proven never believe a word that a club, coach or player says.
Unfortunately Dolphins lowballed Nikorima and it's very disappointing
He already recruited Knowles, which I didn't agree with. Not because of anything wrong with Knowles but because as if Donga, Plath, Stone, Gilbert, Kaufusi wasn't enough. Now this. But far from writing it off. Williams was a very good halfback a few years ago.Yep, it could be a master-stroke. But, you are correct. If it all fucks up, it could cost him his job.
