Andrew Abdo steps down

Not sure if this is good or bad for the game.

I feel he did a good job, and having PVL do both jobs is too much power in one mind.

I prefer management with a variety of eyes looking at outcomes.

Id hope the fill the position soon.

I'm not sure who was the main one pushing that "no fault" stand-down but I don't like it. I'm not sure about South Africa but in this country a person is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. If sponsors don't like that, they should be stood down.

I do have to wonder if this has anything to do with the failure to get the Superleague deal over the line. Abdo probably realised it couldn't be done as the lower level teams would never vote for it and so thought i'm off and let someone else carry the can.
