Campbell from the Titans. I was thinking. Surely, we aren't after Williams from England. Despite the rumours I don't see it happening. If we were after someone in the halves, in a Williams type role, surely J Campbell would be a good option. Unwanted by the looks of it, wouldn't have to move to play with us, would come cheap because he is being discarded and we are close by (by NRL terms).

Just spilt balling. I'm not saying he would be perfect, I reckon Woolf could get a tune out of him, and I think his running game outside Katoa would really suit. He is also a second goal kicker.

Campbell at 5/8 and Katoa at halfback....... imagine how many points a team like that would score.

I am going to go out on a limb and say we aren't, and if we were we no longer are. It's not like many are after him, and if we were he would be signed by now. I suspect its agent talk to get him a contract somewhere, and Woolf being a mate, might be trying to help him out by saying we are interested to flush other interested parties out.

i going be more interested to see what the club does if kodi does go after next season does brad stay ( all hypothetical i l know) , we dont get williams as no way kurt or jake will be in the halfs fulltime especailly the fact we looking for halfs and stilll think even though john got upgraded i dont see him been in the team fulltime till 2028

Schneider is a backup half at best and will never play a regular role in any club (just like SOS). If KNik leaves (doubtful), they certainly won't be scrambling to sign Schneider to an extension to serve as his replacement. That would be moronic.

The way Averillo and Donoghoe are evolving and improving as players anything is possible I do see Averillo becoming a permanent 5/8 as the years go on and Donga is now established as a starting player.

There's a really good young player currently assigned to Capras John Fineanganofo that Dolphins have put onto Supplementary Deal for next year with Top 30 in 2027 he's one to watch out for plays 5/8, lock & dummy half.

I very much doubt they open to Williams coming. To having Kurt n Jake there full time halfs still think John will only back to. What ever we sign for kurt

Thats the reason club like the Dragons are crap. They overrate some of their juniors, they sit there waiting for them to come through, thinking they are the next big thing, and they turn out to be KFC eaters like Matt Mundine.

If juniors come through its a bonus, clubs need to recruit to win, not to save money. I happy mixture of both is good, but being honest and not overrating youngsters is important.
