I was taking a few days off. Getting ready for Origin and then the big games at the end of the year.

1. Melbourne Storm vs Brisbane Broncos - Melbourne by 4 (this will be a cracker! If Storm lose, I think we can be confident saying their reign constantly at or near the top of the table is done. That second-rower, Trent Liero has played every minute of every game this year for them. To me that explains it. He's bog average at best! But expect them to win this. Munster to get back in form.)

Seems like a really easy round to tip. Broncos-Storm is hard and maybe Canberra-Parramatta. Everyone waiting for Parramatta to come good. Don't think it's going to happen. Their premiership window has closed for about 10 years. Never really know what you'll get from the Titans. They could win by 50 or lose narrowly.

• Are Melbourne sliding that much or are Souths that good?
• Often times, the Melbourne attack didn't even look like breaking the Broncos line.
• I thought without the sin-binnings (even though Herbie's was justified), Broncos would have won.
• Having said that, Broncos last try was a farce. How did the video refs miss that? And Melbourne were robbed of a try so 30 to 10 probably should have been the final score.
• One day it probably will but I hope the day isn't anytime soon when the Dolphins have a record against any team like the Broncos have against the Storm.

• As for the Herbie sin-binning, I know it was probably just a reflex action but in future, better to let the other team score instead of committing a professional foul which will almost certainly result in a sin-binning.

Nice to see the Roosters struggling. How are they going to turn it around? Have a number of big name players under contract for a few more years. A few "medical retirements" on the cards? Keary comes to mind.
