Seems we better get used to not thinking of Melbourne as one of the best teams. But that makes it vital for us to beat them. If we don't, we'll be equal second last on the table and it'll take a dramatic form turnaround to make the finals. I hope JMK is back. Really need him.

That would be a disaster. However, listening to The Run Home. They don't think the Storm can make the 8, which in turn would mean opinion would be that we cant make the 8 either.

I'm disappointed
A bit early but so far the season has been a bitter disappointment.

panthers were in lower spot (this time last year) than storm n got home

You think this team is as good as Penrith was last year? They arguably have the talent though it seems pretty obvious Ivan Cleary is a much better coach than Kristian Woolf.

talking bout storm

Will be an interesting game that's for sure. Both teams underperforming and both have top 8 potential in terms of talent, does win/loss determine the rest of season ?

If the Dolphins fall to 2-6, you can kiss this season goodbye 👋. There ain't no climbing out of that predicament. Melbourne, on the other hand, still have the talent, experience and coaching to somehow recover. Let's hope the Dolphins can further add to Melbourne's dramatic slide. I'm not exactly over confident of that, though.

I agree. And that's why i am banging on about Woolf. If you can make the 8 this early in the season, and its already a fail grade, he clearly isn't good enough.

Hoping for a late change with donoghoe coming in at 6 but almost certain it won't happen

More of the same. If Donoghue is possibly fit, he surely must be a late change to play No.9. Other than that. Fuller doesn't look very effective at centre. Swap him and Hammer or play Cobbo in the centres and Naufahu or Bostock on the wing.

Melbourne have made a number of changes. Putting an Origin forward back to the bench for example. One step before dropping him. Bellamy isn't screwing around but it seems Woolf is confident in what he's been doing. Not the craziest idea. Penrith and NZ are obviously 2 of the better teams. Narrow looses to them isn't the worst thing but now the pressure is on.

Or 9. I rate Plath. He's a very good LOCK. He made some good runs in the first half last week in particular but in the second half, with the game in the balance, his dummy half work cost us again.
