That (round 8 vs Canberra) was a huge disappointment. Not only disappointing but so strange. Like they didn't even try in the second half. Canberra player went straight through the line from the kick off to the second half!

Anyway, this will be another hard game. There are no easy games in this competition. I'm not sure how the Roosters are traveling with regard to injuries other than the long-term injuries to Walker and Smith but I guess the Dolphins will have our 3 best hookers back for the game. That'll help for sure. I just wonder, will Ray Stone go back to 18th man. He's a tackling machine but do we need more than that?

Ray Stone or Kerr. Ray Stone is a way better player but maybe Kerr is the type we need if Plath and Gilbert are fit.

JMK, Plath, Donoghoe and Kaufusi if all available walk back into the 17.

Yesterday exposed how important and valuable all four players are.

Team Tips: Following three straight wins, the Dolphins crashed back to earth in the nation’s capital, bumbling an 18-point lead to a red-hot Raiders side. The Dolphins were missing a couple of key players including Jeremy Marshall-King, Felise Kaufusi and Max Plath. According to Kristian Woolf, the club are “hopeful” all three will be able to suit up against the Roosters. Plath was reportedly close to returning against Canberra so expect him to be named for Magic Round. Marshall-King is due to return this weekend as is enforcer Felise Kaufusi. Plath likely starts at lock, pushing Mark Nicholls back to the bench. Marshall-King would come in for Sean O’Sullivan while Kenny Bromwich is in danger of being dropped if Kaufusi is right to go. Daniel Saifiti didn’t finish the game because of a shoulder injury and was in a “fair bit of pain” according to Woolf. He’d be long odds of taking his place in Magic Round.

The Roosters have their injury concerns as well with Nat Butcher being added to the list. I like the Dolphin's chances in this one. Back at home with a few of their troops returning and stinging from last week. It all points to a strong performance from the Peninsula boys.

Long gone are the days when the Roosters were automatically considered among the top teams. Though Saifiti especially is a massive loss. Because have Gilbert and Stone to cover for Plath but who is going to cover for Saifiti? Kenny B?

Unfortunately last weeks second half meltdown on top of Saifiti injury and reports from Plath nearly being right last week to now being a TBC has me really concerned about which way the Dolphins are headed this year.

Signing Sua who's a long term injury is also a concern.

Not death riding highlighting concerns and weaknesses. Saifiti and Plath been 2 of the Dolphins 3 best this year.

Sua hasn't been sighted since the signing swap with Teague.

Dolphins have no room for error they don't have as big a fanbase as they claim to have. Many fans are like me who like them as a no.2 side or they've got casual fans who aren't completely locked in.

Backs pick themselves at present but I have to say, don't like Nicholls at #13. IMO Lemuelu should be starting , Gilbert #13 and Nicholls on the bench.

WTF are you on about. You pull shit out of your ass.

Fanbase? The NRL are putting a fucking team in PNG, they don't give a fuck about fanbase. Brisbane needed a second team. The teams that should be careful are Sydney based team. Where they would love one or two to fall over.

Irrespective of how the Dolphins go, the NRL need a second team in Brisbane, and they will ensure their success.

As we just said, in a post the other day, match goers don't mean shit to the NRL, it's all about tv revenue, and the amount of games they sell each season. Abdo talked about the 18th team and I reckon they want to expand further to get 10 games sold weekly.

Perth is a great addition for them because of the time zone and its viewing potential, they couldnt give two hoots how many fans they have.

Fuck, the NRL even make home grounds fill the side of the stadium facing the cameras first. Because it's all about tv and how it looks on tv.

That statement is just dumb.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, stop making generalization and sweeping fact-less statements. Its fucking doing my head in. Especially when I come here to support the team.

I was on Jubilee Ave, and that was a Dragons only forum and you had to sign up to get in. It was great, and out of respect, I don't post on there anymore because I am now a Dolphins fan (not a forum troll with too much time on my hands and nothing else in life to live for). Moral of the story we didn't have to put up with this rubbish.

That is weird. Is Lemuelu not match fit or something? He should be playing 80min.

Dolphins have a bigger fan-base than Canterbury.
