Round 9 Canberra Raiders vs The Dolphins

Jennings was the difference. After that, his card needs to be marked, "Never first grade again".

And the Aitken where we lost the challenge. WTF was that about? Not only the ref got it wrong but the video ref as well. I mean, there was no mistake playing the ball.
 
Brenko keeps being terrible especially in defense, and Jennings too. Neither have any longterm upside, they are the end of their careers. I don;t see what we have to lose by giving Bostock and/or Te Whare a go, especially now. Katoa is only 19 and playing in a much higher pressure position.

We were saying about Jennings during the game. He's no longer first grade standard. And Brenko is fat and lazy. Even when Niu comes back, still really need one more centre or winger. Bostock has had another 2 months in the QLD Cup. Maybe he's ready for another chance. better if he could remain in the QLD Cup this year but we really need him in first grade.
 
Was really unimpressed with Katoa. Their mid field bombs were landing about 10 out from the line. Kotoa's were landing about 30min from the line. Even in the extra time.

Still only 19 but his running speed is a concern for me. He won't get much if any faster.
 
Wasn't able to watch the game but followed the score online. Been saying for a few weeks, Jennings isn't NRL standard. And Brenko Lee is a worry as well.

Seems this is what lost us the game.

What lost us the game was that their pack monstered ours and they were able to march down field with relative ease. Their kicking game was vastly better as well. The Dolphins did well to stay in it because they were supremely dominated. 42% possession, 34% territory, 700 less running metres, 13 errors.

Jennings is the 4th choice winger and earns minimum wage. Expectations are way too high for a guy who is basically a career reserve grader.

Brenko did his hammy today and will probably have a couple weeks in the sick bay.

Started pathetically. Got better. Jennings was a one-man blooper show.
