I don’t even know what to say.
Grabbing defeat from the jaws of victory?

Hahaha I had that same feeling at that incident.Well done to @Nashy . When Dolphins were 6 in front Luai made mistake. Tommy Gilbert went ballistic. I'm not sure what was going on there, if Luai is a serial sledger or what but I had a feeling it was going to come back to bite us.
The real issue is that he is not playing anywhere near first grade standard. I'm aware that it will take a while to get back in the groove after a long layoff but he looks terrible atm. Giving him the captaincy was a bad move. I'm not sure if this current coach is going to work out. I realise it's painfully early but he is just a "regular joe". They are a dime a dozen in RL.The captaincy does not suit Gilbert - he can be a leader without being captain. His reaction to Luai's error told the story - Luai did not react at all and led his young side to victory over the last 20 minutes

Needs to go to Herbie. (Not sure about that but it does need to be someone else)
Kurt D came on we were 6 points up. Stayed on and we lost by 12. (Their bench is much stronger)
Not his fault but didn't have any impact. In attack or defence for the 3rd game in a row.
Averillo no impact for the 3rd game in a row. (I thought he had a good game actually, nothing highlight reel but lots of solid work without much reward)
Hammer, no impact for the 3rd game in a row. (As i've said not a fullback. playing at 1 really cuts down his ability to use his speed he is a finisher not a creator)
What's the solution Big Bad Woolf? (a new set of forwards ?)
Your fav Bostock seems like the last of our problems. To be honest.Kaufusi was AWOL today i'd be giving him 8 lace holes and a bus ticket to QCup.
Bostock started so well and then well returned. That knock on near the line was criminal, ok it was a shoulder charge but hold onto the fucking ball.
He is getting better but still has the habit of coughing up a howler at a clutch moment.Your fav Bostock seems like the last of our problems. To be honest.

Has always had that in his game.He is getting better but still has the habit of coughing up a howler at a clutch moment.
There is also the issue of Plath and Gilbert.![]()

this is why i find it intresting as where you fit morgie when he comes it will come just got see how it plays out need bench impact that seems to be the key as our bench aint giving itThere is also the issue of Plath and Gilbert.
Plaths form is way down because he's being asked to play out of position. But needlessly. No reason at all Plath can't start on the bench, come on to give JMK a rest then stay on as a middle forward.
Who is Morgie? Frank Molo? I'm starting to doubt he will come.this is why i find it intresting as where you fit morgie when he comes it will come just got see how it plays out need bench impact that seems to be the key as our bench aint giving it
morgan knowles as he seems to play a lot of lock in super leagueWho is Morgie? Frank Molo? I'm starting to doubt he will come.
I thought Katoa was brilliant. What a player we have there.Just checked the stats. Kaufisi a cool 61 run metres! Nicholls 42 and Plath 61. Gilbert had a good charge for around 20m in the first half. Finished with 83m. 3 games in a row Gilbert, Plath and Hammer have been bad. Pre-season I think most people would have picked them as 3 of our best 5.
- Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow: 4/10 He played. Didn't make any mistakes that I can remember. That's as much as I can say.
- Jamayne Isaako: 6/10 Was ok. Went looking for work and no mistakes.
- Jake Averillo: 3/10 Same as for Hammer but even less effective.
- Herbie Farnworth: 9/10 By far our best. Should be captain.
- Jack Bostock: 5/10 Similar as for Isaako without the goal kicking.
- Kodi Nikorima: 7/10 Second best of us.
- Isaiya Katoa: 5/10 well and truly gone off the boil from the rep games at the end of last year.
- Daniel Saifiti: 7/10 Played ok.
- Jeremy Marshall-King: 6/10 nowhere near as good as he was in the last 2 years when he wasn't injured.
- Felise Kaufusi: 5/10 I haven't seen the stats but I think his running metres are probably around 50.
- Kulikefu Finefeuiaki: 6/10 a few good charges and tackles.
- Max Plath: 5/10 Trying to get into the game but it's very obvious an edge backrower isn't his position.
- Tom Gilbert: 5/10 Over the first few rounds, not the player who was injured in Origin almost 2 years ago.
- Kurt Donoghoe: 4/10 Another bloke Woolf has playing out of position.
- Oryn Keeley: 4/10 He's an 80min player but Woolf brought him for about 15 as far as I can remember. Just crazy stuff!
- Mark Nicholls: 4/10 Tries hard but been going around a year too long. Should see out his career playing for Redcliffe.
- Ray Stone: 5/10 tackled well when he came on.
Was good in the first half. Like the rest of the team, bad in the second.I thought Katoa was brilliant. What a player we have there.
His ability to change tempo going to the line and creating space for hole runners is excellent.
He is a gun
I know some don't value his opinion. But here it is. he is talking about Katoa at the start.
I hope we can put a team around this young kid, because I think he is highest caliber.
PS. Im not related to him. I just like what I see from the young half.
You can only carry guys so long. Was good in the first half. Like the rest of the team, bad in the second.
