Round 25: Dolphins vs Parramatta Eels

Sorry to say it but if Flegler being suspend means Plath or Donoghue start, it will be a blessing in disguise.

They left a few points out there, but it was a good win against a determined Parra side. Top 4 with 2 games remaining and a 15-7 record. It has been a very successful season thus far.

3 Plath
2 Herbie
1 Pouniu.

I wasn't able to see the game. Does anyone know where one can see full replays? I know there was a Russian site which replayed all games. I had the URL saved in Firefox pocket but then 100% randomly, Firefox decided I was a robot and had to prove my identity with a "security question" check which I couldn't remember at all. Bottom line is, I lost the place I used to watch full replays.

But I can see from the comments, it was very predictable. Without Kurt D, Pouniu was able to sneak into the best 3. Kurt D, Plath and Herbie have been miles better than anyone else this year. Which is driving me crazy that the coach doesn't have either Plath or Kurt on from the opening minute until the full-time whistle (barring injury).

Kristian, how many times do we have to be behind before introducing Plath and/or Donoghue?

Some of those tries were ridiculous! The one that was disallowed just before halftime would have been the try of the year. Though I have to also say, based on the highlights, coach needs to scream at Bostock so he understands it's ok just to take the tackle.

Need him or Plath to start.
Why would you want bench impact to start when they do it well of the bench n that's they come of tge bench wont happen till they can find someone better of the bench putting them starting line up will just soften our bench for impact

I get you, i'm afraid you're not going to get them to understand.

How good was Brian Pouniu?

Two NRL games one at centre one at second row.

If you watch Dawn of the Dolphins you actually see Pouniu in the 2022 academy sessions.

I was at his debut game in Canberra earlier this year.

Not you too! Enough of this "impact" BS. We need Plath to have "an impact" from the opening whistle. When his "impact" is waning due to fatigue, we need to bring on Donoghue for more "impact". To keep the "impact" going. Because if we fall behind by double digits in the first 15 minutes against the Roosters, the "impact" Plath provides is not going to be enough. Might just be enough "impact" to stop the score from becoming embarrassing.

If we were all the rank the Dolphins forwards from 1 to 10 outside of JMK specialist 9 the top 2 forwards at the club with daylight third are Plath and Donoghoe. The two forwards who have the most positive impact on the side are Plath and Donoghoe. The player who has the most positive impact on Katoa is Donoghoe.

Last night Knowles and Flegler combined for 68m from 11 runs.

Go sign Underhill from Bulldogs he's a future QLD origin prop and he's from Kawana. Dolphins need some SC products they've barely made a dent into the area.

Glad to see him play his preferred position, and even more glad at how well he did. Did he finish with most tackles for us because he was leading near the end? Strong after contact too.

Knowles pushed into the front row when Plath came on. He still looked really slow. I don't see how he fits into the 17 when Donga returns. He is nowhere near the standard required. Flegs continues to struggle, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Coming back from serious injury, it may take him a year or two to get into that groove again.
