At least the record loss to the Roosters will stand for a bit yet. Should be safe against the Titans next week but the following week with Canberra possibly playing for the minor premiership is a worry.

I'm glad I was too busy being a tourist and decided not to watch this train wreck. Two 50+ scorelines in the past three weeks= the season has come crashing down. How bad are the Broncos going that they had to fight hard to beat this severely depleted squad? Onto next year where the results will be much better (I hope). I'm going to drown myself with some Asahis.

Today I'm going to nominate the standouts in a bad way. Those who were especailly bad.

• Feagai (how many missed tackles?!)
• Isaako (not as many missed tackles as Feagai but throw in a few mistakes.)
• Keeley (30 something run metres last week and 44 this week against a poor team who let in 30 points. Not even close to good enough!)

Kirin is excellent beer. Also Sapporo beer. Asahi is too of course. All 3 of them are outstanding. There is a bottle shop in West End which sells Asahi

I was thinking of the Broncos as well. Judging by our games before and after Broncos game, they are struggling badly.

I noticed early on, in the first 10min. Maybe first 5. A Manly player just breezed straight past Feagai who barely even hung an arm out forcing Katoa to make a hard one on one tackle. It's like Feagai wasn't even trying. Was he told during the week to seek life elsewhere?

Too add insult to injury, it looks almost certain Parramatta are going to beat Roosters who will be without Walker next week against Melbourne. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but even after the last few weeks, a victory today would have seen us right in contention for the finals and then get Herbie back for the finals...... Who knows what might have happened.

Incredibly, there is still a window of opportunity there. A Dolphin win next weekend coupled with a Rooster loss has them improving to 8th. It's hard to imagine, but they are still a shot of a playoff spot (not really). Btw, thanks for the beer tips. We've had a blast tonight experiencing the Tokyo night-life.

few things i see take molo jmk fin of thry ( the forwards n halfs go to crap)

our backs need to learn one on one tackling ( max may of missed heaps least he tried ) rest i dont think they have made double figure

Herbies big link missing he guides the team well

when jmk goes of izzy goes missing ( really need someone weather it be kodi of the bench when jmk goes off to lift the game

tevitia needs be on other side ( looked way better when played two for cup level)

i wouldnt be changing much bar attitude ( n dont switch off ) we leaked more points when starting forwards n jmk go off )

you still creating same issue only one guy will be in double figures for tackling n will be under presure jake, they will expose us again and again if backs cant learn to make stronger 1st up tackles n not rely on centres to miss tackles you got make tackles some thing our wings n full backs dont do as you be hear complain next wee about defense

woudnt be changing nothing simple answe is you take max out , whose making the tackles from backs thats what you need remind yourself no back we put there wont be under pressure unless rest of the backs defend week in week out , presure comes on our centres her max jakes because likes trai jack tevita jaymane ne rest of them cant make double figures tackles we need fix how we play jmk when he comes off ( he was notable piece missing when he went off n teams so well with herbie )
