Talk about coming back down to earth with a thud. It looked like they just gave up. Hammer had a shocker and Niko had his worst game I can remember him playing. Good riddance to Josh Kerr. With so many injuries I doubt there will be any unforced changes though if it it were me, I'd be giving serious consideration to Hammer in the centres, Averillo 5/8, Fuller fullback, Niko in the bench.

Good to see James Walsh finally make the 22. He was my prediction at the start of the year to be the breakout player it's turned out to be Naufahu & Tawha instead however since going to Capras & the start of the NRLQ series he's really starting to showing his potential.

Capraa or Redliffe or Norths.

But yeah, he and Nonu has big futures. Though as far as Nonu goes going to be stacked for outside backs next year.

They were right on NRL 360. Broncos don't have an injury crisis at all. They are missing 3, one who has been in and out of the NRL this season and who they no longer wanted for next year. Compare that to our team. They should win easily. If they lose, it will be a monumental debacle.

Mam is a huge loss. A Ray would be but they have Hunt who is a good replacement though obviously a bit lower than A Ray as a halfback.

They can still leave out Jesse Arthurs who walks into most starting teams.

Corey Paix is a highly rated 9.

Ben Hunt has played the majority of his club career at 7 and played rep footy in that position.

Broncos have 5 outs and Dolphins have 8.

Broncos even with their 5 outs have a top 4 roster on paper.

Which 5 do they have out?

Mam, Cobbo, ARey, Piakura, Willison, BTK.
BTK is a depth player for them but would walk into most other top 17's including Storm & Panthers again shows the talent Broncos have.

Name a club that can lose Adam Reynolds and replace them with a player who's played representative football as recently as 2024 for Queensland & Australia and he himself been an elite halfback for many years now at a club he actually loves?

Dolphins have 6 injured Flegler, Saifiti, Gilbert, Plath, Bostock & Farnworth plus Kaufusi & Molo suspended this week back next week.

Su'a a depth player at best has only played 16mins of QCup and week before that played 40mins for Valleys in the BRL Premier A/Grade he's so far away from NRL.

Broncos strength is their sheer talent even with many outs they have so much talent across the park led by Haas, Carrigan, Hunt, Walsh, Staggs, Riki, Shibashaki & co. Broncos weakness is their mental application if the trick shots & bounce of the ball not going their way they start making the most basic of errors in attack & defence.

Even at full strength, the Broncos aren't a top 4 side. If they were, they'd be snuggled securely in there along with Melbourne and Canberra. Instead, they are battling an injury hit third year team just to stay alive.

There is a lot of media hype surrounding the Broncos which only adds pressure to the playing squad. They have a soft underbelly and zero depth. Add a few injuries and they are extremely vulnerable. That is why I think the Dolphins are a big chance on Saturday despite being humbled last weekend. If the horribly depleted pack holds their own, they should scrape through with the two points.

Not a bad post that Matt, agree with the mental aspect. Walsh only wants to know when they are on top goes missing in tough games. Pretty shocked you didn’t crow bar donoghue into the conversation.
