Round 23 vs Sydney Roosters

Ennis is right. The defence isn't good enough.

Dolphins have to stop giving the Roosters piggyback penalties down the field - two high shots and and a blatant 10 metre penalty have all led to tries

I thought:
  • The scuffle was initiated by the Roosters and escalated by another Rooster. Why should we have also had 2 players go to the bin?
  • Walker hit Isaako around the chin but Roosters ball.
  • Niko absolutely wasn't offside when he was penalised for being offside.
  • Donga stole the ball one on one but ref ruled Roosters ball?

Niko has had a bad half of football. How many passes have forced the player on the outside to stop and reach behind to catch Niko's pass?

Niko called back for a borderline forward pass and 5 plays later Roosters score from an absolutely blatnant forward pass:ROFLMAO:

The pass from Whyte to Hugo was every bit as forward as the pass from Niko to Lemuelu, but Dolphins' red zone defence has been awful

How many? I think "most". Try a reshuffle. Give JMK a rest, move Niko to dummy half, Averillo 5/8, Finefuiaki centre.

That'll do it. I've got better things to do than watch this rubbish.

A huge dose of reality tonight. I thought this might happen considering their less than convincing performance last week. They are playing like a third year team missing a host of key players. A playoff spot is looking less likely now.

Maybe the Herbie injury was the straw that broke the camels back.

Forget blaming the ref - a stat just flashed up showing Dolphins have missed 29 tackles to Roosters' nine. That says it all

Now Dolphins are awful in attack too…

The Roosters will be threatening 70 here. The season has come crashing down in a devastating heap. Bring on 2026.

Two defenders around Nawaqanitawase as he landed and he beat them both from a standing start.
